Do you mean worse? lol I tried to download it for free even though I don't have Halo 4 yet, but it didn't let me. I can't believe that they already released DLC. It hasn't even been three months yet.
Yeah not a big fan of wreckage, especially playing oddball on it. Does it have framerate, or was I just lagging? The other two are pretty good, Harvest being the best.
Good, I was thinking something was just wrong with my xbox or TV or something. I definitely noticed lag on Wreckage. That's pretty disappointing TBH, considering they had this extra month to check for problems like these.
Well Wreckage is a polygons-galore fest. While I was checking it out I was thinking to myself that this might have taken a long time to make, seeing as they had to make a ton of individual pieces and make sure they do not create anything game-breaking. The Engine, however, is not forgiving with the number of objects.
Wasn't foundry released in Dec. or Jan. after Halo 3 launched in Nov. or was it March? Mannn time is so ****ed up for me.
I don't know what it is, but I keep getting crazy amounts of FR lag on these DLC maps. Anyone besides me and cluck? Just played a king of the hill game on Harvest, I swear every other time I spawned was FR lag out the whazoo.
Foundry was released on December 11th Source: Foundry - Halo Nation And Halo 3 was released on September 25th Source: Halo 3 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Anyways, I believe they should have at least waited until 3 or 4 months have passed before releasing the DLC.
lol i dont have the map pass and i got the pack for free I saw it was available to download and i had 800 mp, so i was perfectly fine with buying it, but when i went to download it, it told me the transaction was worth 0, so i downloaded it for free and still have 800 mp Ice Cube - It Was A Good Day (HD) - YouTube
This doesn't make much sense to me. 343 obviously had the maps done. I don't see what postponing them for 4 months would do, apart from embedding Haven and Complex deep into my nightmares.
The ODST achievement is for sure. I got it by killing someone after I jumped in the air. No mancannon is required.
They should have taken the time to perfect the maps to be a great as possible. Instead we get some laggy, poor thought out maps. I will probably end up buying it anyway.
It's quite hilarious how I spend so much additional cash with my copy of Halo 4 to save on all the additional content, only for that content to accidentally be given away to thousands upon thousands of people for free with no compensation to people like me. Oh, I guess that isn't so hilarious; **** yourselves, 343.
This isn't something that 343 Industries were in control of. The delay for season pass holders and accidentally handing out the dlc to certain people were errors made my Microsoft themselves.
That's an opinion. In my opinion, after having played them, the maps are great and fun to play in. All three are similar in layout (rectangular inner area surrounded by roadways), but on an individual level they're fine. Lagwise, I haven't noticed anymore than the usual, but maybe that's because I'm just less sensitive to it. Or plain lucky.
You think Micro$oft will compensate them? I'd love to see that happen, but we have a better chance of seeing the world end on the 21st.
At what point did I say they would? All I was saying was that Microsoft are to blame, not 343i. I've played on Harvest and Shatter so far and they're alright. The Mantis is really fun to use on Shatter and Harvest feels like it will be able to support BTB and 4v4 games nicely. I haven't been experiencing any framerate issues either.
