forgeability of the maps: harvest has 2 new crates, and 40 total crates wreckage has Doors, Windows, Walls category with a new wall, and new door, and teleporter frame. 20 total Shatter also has the doors,walls, 20 total, but not tele frame idk much else, just did a quick forgethru of each of them. i need my nap

You probably wont be able to repeat my steps, but here's what I did: Closed out of the marketplace menu that said it cost 800 msp Went to dashboard Entered my Specialization code that Microsoft messaged me a few days ago which I still had not entered Turned off my Xbox Turned it back on and went back into the crimson playlist Opened up the same screen, and it took me to the window that Chipsinabox showed
Spin, this may sound like a stupid question but do you have the pass itself downloaded to your Xbox? I bought it on Xbox.com and hadn't downloaded it, the maps wouldn't appear as available until I'd actually downloaded the map pack pass item which is like 100KB. Past that, are you going to the Xbox Live Marketplace option on the main menu, or following the prompt when you try to enter the Crimson playlist?
That's another screwed up thing.. stupid microsoft didn't send me an email but said they had on Live..
I don't have the map pack pass. I have tried both using the crimson prompt and the marketplace option. I have also tried from xbox home.
I never got an email, they sent the code over live Just try signing out and signing back in again and see if that works. I probably did that 7 or so times
So... first map played being Harvest, I learned a very valuable lesson for that map. Never look toward the center. All in all though, hogging was actually kinda fun and I was able to get a Riot doing so.

Most likely, you need the specializations code downloaded for this to work. Didn't have to restart my xbox or anything. It'll give you that "checking for downloadable updates" thing right after you put in the code. Afterwards, go to any prompt and the window chipsinabox showed will come up.
OH right, it's a glitch, I see. Seeing as they apparently fixed the map pack pass thing on a per-location basis, perhaps the glitch only works in certain places too? EDIT: Nvm, glad you got it working. So in their efforts to fix the problem with passes, they inadvertently gave it away free to people who don't have the pass? Good god, these guys are certainly earning their pay right now. Guessing this glitch is gonna be fixed *very* quickly.
I think it's having the specializations code downloaded. Did that and right after, nothing else, it worked. Would like confirmation, though. Get the word around?
