Does anyone know why it's taking so long for 343i to open the community files database? I mean c'mon, they should've had it ready when they released the game. One month later and it's still not up, this is getting ridiculous.
so far H4 is an paid beta expect to see the full game when everyone and their cat gets halo 4 for christmas
Agreed, 343i really needs to get their **** together. It's like all they cared about was campaign and matchmaking and everything else was half-assed. I mean ffs they ruined the holy grail of custom games .
Flood is Infection, although much more restricted. I'm waiting for them to open up to more customization before I play it. I agree, they should've had all this ready by the time H4 was released. That's why they should've had an open beta (like Reach). The good news is that everything is slowly making it's way back into the game (Race, Flying UNSC vehicles, etc.).

Yeah, where did you hear that. By them ruining Infection I meant that since zombie weapon and vehicle traits can't be changed, that means all the creative customs from H3 and HR like Smear the Pinkie, Duck Hunt, etc. are a thing of the past. Compromises will need to be made left and right. It's a shame, really.
Seriously this is the reason why my friends and I aren't playing. We have no fun custom games to play yet, besides the ones that we have to search all over FH for.
Yeah, and even then it's a tedious process of adding them to your friends list (hoping that it's not full), going into their file share and looking for the correct file. What are you talking about... I've made a fully functional Duck Hunt map & Gametype with no Modding required. As well as the fact that you can actually change vehicle traits. Flood ARE capable of vehicle use. While I understand the lack of weapons is a pain for flood, if you can't be patient for an update, There are ways around it. I.E. Man up and learn to mod./ Find a mod that suits your needs. Though you'd be giving up the ability to share it on forgehub. I love my customs, especially infection. But seriously, This is aimed at nobody in particular, so just deal with it. I've had a ton of H4 custom games that were real fun. Most of the previous games work. And the ones that don't are either coming, or have already appeared in the form of a modded gametype. So yeah... Deal with it! On a related note, I agree that 343 has screwed up with the lack of a working fileshare and not to mention the lack of an actual finished game. They have far too many issues to fix first before calling this the "Final Product".
Well it's believable. Look at Halo 3 with Sandbox. They added a brand new vehicle into the game called the "Transport Hornet" They can definitely add in flying vehicles since they already have the files for 2 of them in the game (Broadsword, Pelican) You flew them in the campaign. They are probably going to release a new vehicle in the second DLC maps in February. I'm looking forward to seeing if they do c: I hate the goddamn Banshee
The only reason they would already make Halo 5 now is because of the new Xbox being released next year.
The Transport Hornet was just a Hornet without guns, cheap waste of a "new vehicle". Anyway, what makes you think a new vehicle is coming in the second DLC? There is no info on any of the map packs other than the names of the map packs and that they will each have 3 maps (first one has Extraction gametype also)... that's all anyone knows. The reason there is no human air vehicle is because anything like the Hornet or Falcon would be completely useless in Halo 4 so it was replaced with the Mantis. Even the Banshee gets shot down in seconds now almost every time no matter who pilots it. Halo 4 is power-weapon heavy... Air vehicles don't have much of a chance unless you are extremely skilled and probably need the Operator specialization. I think it would be much better to release a Sand Trap remake in one of those DLC map packs with Elephants or Mammoths as the new vehicle on that map. Rather than add a new shitty human helicopter that will have zero chance of survival in a Halo 4 battle.
Much as I can't say it, you most definitely CANT go onto the internet and find a popular console modifying website that ISNT called 7sins where you CANT go onto a certain thread where there ARN'T any infection gamestypes that let you change the flood spawn weapon, and you CANT go to somebody's fileshare and download them. So you certainly must not do those things.
You don't need to add people to your friend's list to download their H4 maps. You just need to do a Fileshare search & plug their GT in.
