and what would be the point of attacking in melee then?

 

Well, it's headshot capable which beats three of the current primaries. I'm pretty sure pitted against an AR the BS's pew-pew mode has better range. I think the issue that you're trying to highlight is the fact that it's more niche than the rest of the primaries, possibly barring the Suppressor - and the fact that it's a one-handed weapon.

I only agree on one thing that BLOPS 2 is doing better, as much as i hate to compare, but they do listen to the community and i have the feeling that 343i is not really doing so, at least not so good.
Still, the community is what makes CoD bad, and i always liked the Halo community because i think its best.

And still, i wish they would fix the problems so badly, it really makes me angry. It looks like they are only fixing the upmost obvious problems. Like the ordnance through the floor on haven, i dont know how it appeared suddenly, but they fixed it. I still have hope, as the fanboy i am, but they are fixing problems very slowly...

But its still considered as that annoying weapon that constanly blows you away, and if far enough, then kills you. But yeah, not higher then the Detonator.

 

Company's don't have to listen to there community's, Even if they do they don't need to implement there suggestions. (Bungie set a really high bar in doing stuff for the community imo.) Can't expect that from 343i seems like there doing the bare minimum to keep the game alive and DLC been bought till Halo 5 comes out.

As for melee it's important for me as a CQC player (as long as there is bleed though meleeing is screwed but meh) Some people hate the double beatdown I actually enjoy that it is possible as long as its not a predominant tactic.

Face to face with spartan your gonna melee/hit with weapon/knife him not shoot his shields for ages so it represents a fist fight making it more realistic, Adds a skill of knowing when to melee when people can double melee and choosing to engage in a melee battle adding more dynamics to the game. (remember I said I like it as a niche tactic, like if you fail assassination you have choice to win with melee if you want.)

This is the quickest I've become tired of a Halo game.

 

I feel the exact same way. Even Reach held my interest for a longer time.

 

What is this bleed through I keep hearing everyone mention?

 

Its when the damage carries over from shields to health. So if you beat someone down, as long as they have a sliver of shield left, the melee can't and won't kill them if there's no bleed through. The sniper rifle has bleed-through, because you can kill someone with a body shot if they've taken some damage and still have shield left. They take shield damage and health damage from one source.

I only get to play the game for the first time today..

 

if your going to play MM your best bet is BTB or team regicide, funnest gametypes ive played so far, oddball is a load of fun too if you have a party of 5 people, basically football the whole time, ctf is pretty fun if your team is organized

Ill never jump into an objective playlist alone though

 

And play Team regicide, dont play Flood though. It will piss you off eventually, it does for me. And you should look at forge a bit, but im sure you will already do that because you want to see the possibilities for yourself. You really get the game, or do you play it at someone else?

 

REM, warning: Slayer Pro has no people with mikes and tons of assassinator-noobs.
Seriously. In the middle of the battle, your partner WILL assassinate someone while being shot.

Everything with random ordnance will have you raging because some idiot who can't shoot straight with a BR picked up rockets off personal ordnance.

Dominion will have lots of base campers with boltshotguns.

Bottom line: Flood might be ok (nice for you ) but the competitive playlists all suck.

Has anyone else not received a specialization code in their email or Xbox Live? I know it's kind of late, but I never did even though I qualified for it, and was wondering what others did who also didn't get it. I'll call Xbox support tomorrow, though I doubt there's anything they can do, I think I'm just SOL :\

 

Damn it, has anyone else gotten a message from Live saying that an email has been sent giving you the specializations and then NOT GOTTEN THE GODDAMN EMAIL FOR A WEEK?
