On the topic of personal ordnance, and personal loadouts, I think I've found a happy little compromise. I called it "AA Slayer" - for personal ordnance I swapped out the first two slots with half of the AAs each, and then disabled personal loadouts and set the game loadouts to not include AAs. It keeps the number of power weapons on the map in check, prevents players from spending the entire game camo camping, and still allows players to use AAs of their choice, provided they can earn them. Here's my problem. Do you think the weapons on map would play better with random enabled, or initials respawning? It feels too slow with traditional respawns (90/180) on initials.
watching him use those terms like he uses them everyday makes me want to cry. It's just weird when older people try to get into "the lingo"
Exactly, just now i ran into someone with an incineration cannon on haven. But this must be extremely rare, because i am SR - 49 and that was the first time i saw the cannon on haven. All snipers are a lot more common. I mostly get needler, con rifle, damage boost though. Couldnt we check this in the infinity slayer custom options? Should be listed there.
I think I saw on forge that the incineration cannon may spawn on 2 different places in haven. binary rifles may spawn too.
Keep in mind titmar did this a few pages back as well. anyway, this guy called Yellan found a way to get classic reach infection on his halo 4 fileshare, as well as some other really interesting stuff.

But with random hill spawns, KOTH on Ragnarok can be tremendously unbalanced. It isn't rare for the opposing team to have the hill on their side for the majority of the game.
God this map pack just crushed my hopes and dreams for Halo 4. After playing the **** out of Blops2 and knowing what a real, polished, player-based focused shooter feels like I just can't bring myself to play Halo 4 anymore. Hate on CoD all you want, but Blops2 is a great friggin game man. They've got the balance down to near perfect and the annoying things all have their counters and if nothing else, simple tweaks which they have the ability to do on a daily basis can fix em. They've added everything the community has asked for, kept the game exactly the way fans like, removed the terrible stuff people hate (Matyrdom, Last Stand/Final Stand, crazy OP killstreaks, specialist, support streaks+EMP), added in stuff for the competitive scene and even after all that they can still sell the game mass market. It just pisses me off. Why won't publishers learn from CoD? They try to copy it but they copy the wrong thing. Copy the ideals, not the gameplay. CoD established its gameplay and people love it so the core is never changed and everyone still buys it. Sure, there are annoying people who like annoying things, but for the most part everyone will be happy/not notice when Last Stand is removed. Game has a chance at being a cool competitive shooter? Add cool competitive shooter stuff (and a theatre system that wrecks Halos, even though it was in Halo first). On the flip side we have Halo 4. Core gameplay? Rape it all to hell with glitz and glamour that wears off in two days. Things people hate? Sure, lets bring back Camo AAs and let people combine them with an extremely powerful AR. Sprint+melee? No problem, still here. Good theatre? Lets break it. Good forge? Lets break it. Game with the best spawning system for shooters? Piss on that. Balance competitive shooter? Naw, perks, loadouts and join in progress. Don't get me wrong: at its basis Halo 4 is a great game. However, they've throw "spice" all over it to attempt to bring in "new" people and now it just taste bad. Maybe they wipe it off and give us some good maps too, it'll be more enjoyable but for some reason they don't seem to wanna do that. My biggest problem: they won't fix the damn problems with the game. Boltshots in loadouts isn't a problem. DMR being better than the BR isn't a problem. Sprint isn't a problem. Join in progress, insta-spawn and awful map design are problems. They need fixing, whether you're a fanboy or not. Also camo might be a problem... not sure, it's just hella annoying.
Glad to see you've joined the Darkside enjoy your cookies. Maybe you understand my POV better now. Only reason I still play is friends play it and it is bearable because still uses the "5shot DMR,strafing, grenadeing" mechanic's of halo (even though the entire meta game is raped to all hell and balancing issues and bugs everywhere, and I still don't understand the reason for this game been made in first place lol)
Don't get too excited lol, I still hate Reach with a dirty passion. Though the snipers playlist in Reach was infinitely better, so there's that.
I like the part where you say Halo 4 is a piece of crap, but disagree that Boo Bops Dee Wop2 isn't a piece of crap. Last decent Cod was MW2, last decent Halo game was Halo 3. So cross your fingers/ rub buddha's belly for Respawn Entertainment's TBA project and Bungie's Destiny.
I think I'll not get any DLC. They don't offer me much and seeing as I don't play a lot of Halo 4, I see no need. They bring nothing new, just some varying geometry that I might or might not ever play on because the majority don't buy map packs. If I want a new map I'll go play with TCOJ. Just my opinion, though.
It's a problem at least until they patch the **** out of it. They said they adjusted JIP in the last update - did that help? I haven't played enough to say. As much as I hate joining a game in progress, the mechanic does have it's upsides in real world MM. Instant respawning makes me sad. I hate watching the other team's score rocket whilst I'm destroying, just because one or two randoms on my team are on a mission to go -20. I'd like to see some sort of cooldown put on it, whereby you can only instant respawn once every 45 or 60 seconds or so. That's all I can really see them fixing as far as that goes. I mean, I imagine they'll patch up forge and theater, but just from a gameplay perspective, I don't think we'll see much. The maps... well lets just hope they fix forge lol
Ok then, watch the vid, go to 2:05. You will know what i mean.. -.- Oh and this is an HALO 4 discussion, didnt read BLOPS 2 in the title. If you like the game, fine, but dont whine here that its way better then halo and is an super duper dee duper good game.
