    I'm seriously about to give up on the Forgehub community's ability to read a post past the first 3 words...

    Also, a true rayman fan (or, ya know, someone that just did a 5 second google search) should know that lums have faces ;)

    they do in origins. I never noticed faces in rayman revolution.

    Well, at the risk of going ON TOPIC (dot dot dot) i'm going to be capping some games of this 'ere map tomorrow or tonight, so if you can, hang about and add me, and lets get poor old man Daxxy a nice cinematic video :D

    I'd love to play this, because from the video the layout looked really well done, and the teleporters were just fantastic - I can't even make out what pieces you used to make them! I'd like to see the improved version with enhanced aesthetics, because in the video the aesthetics seemed good enough.

    What time are you planning on playing? If it's late wherever you are then it may be the early hours of the morning for me. :(

    I don't even know where to start with what I hate about this map!

    Instead I guess I'll tell you what I love. Every inch of this map looks like fast paced, pain inflicting, don't know where you just got made dead from or by whom, blasting, exploding fun. Now I say this but I haven't done more than run around by my lonely self wishing there was someone to kill. Maybe Edgar Friendly? I do however know what I like, and as someone with a low buddy count, 2-4player maps are my size of choice. Fast and furious is my style. Throw in a few longer site ranges and I'm a happy little puppy. This my friends, is that.

    I wish I had thought to download this map yesterday. Sadly I couldn't even play my own maps this weekend with the boys due to me living off of the Halo 14 day live trial, which apparently doesn't include access to your own cloud saves. Now I am without all of the maps I've been trying to create.

    Hopefully at least one of my my buddies will be around next weekend. Either way I look forward to breaking this map in when the day comes.

    Just another heads up. Because this video is going to be pretty short (1 minute 7, cut another 10 from it) I may have it out tomorrow, possibly even tonight if I pull my finger out :D

    But i'm not rushing anything. I've already polished the intro and thats in a pretty much finalised state, still need to FX the middle of the video though, and make you a VFX breakdown perhaps.

    EDIT: Ashens has a new tat special! May not be today after all :p

    *Daxy Slayer. Longer clips would also have been nice for people to get the layout, too.

    For an action vid, which I assume you were going for, this is great.

    Cheers. I was tinkering around with longer clips, but I only had a couple of games on it, and I couldn't find anything that fitted the bill, or had stupid "SOMEBODY DUN KILLED YOU" text in freecam.

    I was also pretty short on time because of how I edited the music. Honestly, it was a piece with good potential, but just didn't go anywhere so I had to take big ass lumps out, and when I did the colour blocks and by the time I committed to my timing, longer clips just all looked really out of place in a short video. Eh, we will see how Nuttys map goes. THAT is a video I am reallly excited about! (not to say I wasnt with this!)

    Ohhhhhhhh maaaahhhhhh gawwwwwwd. Loved the video, and the map too. The layout looks fantastic and the aesthetics have really improved since the first video posted. I love how everything looks so smooth, especially with the Forge palette we've been given. I can't wait to get a game on this.

    Wow this looks freaking phenomenal Dax.
    As Zombie said, it looks amazingly smooth despite the tools and palette and that teleporter looks sexy as hell too.
    Fantastic job dude.

    Also, nice vid Oli.
    I just wish you'd pull your action shots in a little closer sometimes.

    I think it would be best to take discussion of ye olde SEXAY VIDEO into my videos thread. What I will say, however, is that Halo 4 is actually a serious ballsup as far as filming goes. When I was closer up, shadows were popping in and out, there was lag (i've seen this in even default maps) and also wierd glitches like "X KILLED YOU!" were randomly popping up, especially when closer. I do see where you are coming from though, Dear Orange, so I will see what I can do in Nutduster's video. (expect a LOTLOLTLOTLOT of action shots when it gets going! I'm expecting around 50)

    Which reminds me, would any of you be interested in seeing a VFX breakdown on the video? (the effects layers I used and how they line up)

    Thanks ****! I've been doing a lot more testing recently though, as well as listening to some feedback from other pretty knowledge forgers, and I've gathered that the two top areas may be just a tad overpowered, with no real incentive to go anywhere else once you're there (I mean, if you just want to be boring and play like that, but who wants to be that guy anyway?). I'm thinking this can be fixed by working with the weapon layout, and I may experiment with a few different teleporter set ups. We shall seeeee. I'll keep you guys posted.

    How about removing the pro vision, moving snipe to sender, lowering the platform opposite from sticky det?


    And also, fix your broken gametype?

    I REALLY like how this map looks. If you want to add me to your friends I would love to join some games you get going on it sometime. My gamertag is eating lunch, with the space included.
