I hope that wasn't a serious comment. Killroy- I like the first one, I feel that the shadow is a bit too strong, but overall it looks great! I don't know how I feel about the black UNSC logo on the second one, but I suggest that the lighting should be fixed so that it sits around the logo because currently my eyes want to focus right at the center rather than at the logo itself.
I think you could have gone even more minimalistic with the badge itself. It's still heavily detailed. I don't know where you'd find a less detained version without loosing the resolution, but it'd look cool with slightly less detailing on the wings, shield, motto banner and text. IDK how you'd do that but it would be cool. You still get top marks for making two awesome backgrounds. Well done. Give me more. Anime next time?
