Pssst guys, I found a good site where you can download anime. Free. Ask for link, seeing as it's probably not that legal. Today is also Yui Hirasawa's (of K-On! fame) birthday. Celebrate! I'm such a soppy tit too, bursting into tears over Clannad. I do it every time the ending comes up now. I almost don't want to keep watching it.
I prefer chocolate starfish to wooden ones. Im lovin one piece even more than before now, so much awesomeness.
That's on the list. Railgun and Index also got a Funimation Dub. I instantly recognized all the voices from every other anime ever. Index has the best voice ever for a child (Panty(PSw/GB)/Yukari Sendo (R+V)/Asa (Shuffle))/etc. ****ing lols
started Clanned because of all the fuss in this thread, up to episode 6 and I'm just bored. Poor little sick girl can't do the drama club, oh boy the conflict!!! *yawn* Does anything actually happen or is it just pointlessly following school kids doing normal school kid things? I had to live through that **** I don't want to watch an anime about it.
It's pretty much like that during the first half of Clannad of doing normal teen stuff but later on it get's pretty serious and the second season makes pretty much anyone who watches it cry. Clannad is good stuff, I highly recommend it.
I'll tell you right now I probably wont be affected emotionally in any way by anything that happens. I just don't care about the charactors, thier only "struggles" so far is the same typical bullshit that everyone has to deal with. Quit bitching harden up and move on. I have no ties to any of the charactors because of that so I won't really care what happens to them.
First Season < Second Season I personally thought the first season was pretty sad, but the second season is very sad. You may not be able to relate, but you would be affected emotionally should you put yourself in Okazaki's shoes. In the end, it all depends on if you're an emotional person or not. The first season doesn't really call for tears and the ending is actually somewhat joyous although sudden. You're right, the conflict is the same general conflict that most people face, but then again, that's probably why people can relate and get into the show emotionally. Personally, I have always thought that AnoHana was the most tear inducing anime yet. The conflict is more unique and tear inducing while the development of characters is portrayed better in a shorter time as well. Still, Clannad is very good.
That's the thing though. I watch anime as an escape. My life is mundane enough without watching someone else do the same things more or less that I have done.
Yeah, the first season is pretty lackluster in just about everything as compared to the other. The second has a more unrelatable, unfortunate happenings that occur, so I suggest at least giving it a shot after you finish the first.

Woah woah woah! Stop right there! Madoka has 2 movies already? Why has no-one told be about them? Aside from that, I'm looking forward too Railgun 2, SoraOto 3, OreImo 2 and DxD 2. Apparently AKB0048 is getting a sequel too, so I'm quickly watching all of that.
I didn't know Madoka had a move either, haha. I'm glad SnO is getting another season too. Although I haven't watch the previous two, the manga is just starting to get good, so I hope the anime will follow that. I thought the Rebuild series was fantastic, but I agree with the rest. I haven't even heard of several on there to be honest. Edited by merge: Top 25 Anime That Need Sequels: Spoiler 1. Kuroko’s Basketball 2. Sword Art Online 3. Yuru Yuri 4. Working!! 5. K-ON! 6. Yuru Yuri got a 2nd season too you numpty. So did Strike witches. And I've heard there's a new Accel World soon. Old list is old. SAO will probably get a 2nd series and I'd love a new Haruhi series.
