What glass? oh nvm, you mean the top structures of the buldings? You cant see through them to the other side actually which is great Download and check it out [br][/br]Edited by merge: Who is SaLoT?
Sorry i'm just into that MLG stuff but here in a couple of days I can put the origional up with the turret and all default spawns
bump for further promotional activity and critque feed back. based on the core gameplay of MLG halo 3, is exactly what this map means. also, forgoing ordinance drops so weapons respawn without location indicators just as if it never left halo 3. upper spawn rooms are not part of the design, as they were never used in MLG setups. however, if you want a map thats to the measurement for everything else, this is your sure fire PIT remake.
I remember testing this, damn. It's nearly perfect, as close as anyone will ever get to the Pit on halo 4
You should use the window, small piece (along with maybe a 2x2 flat for the actual wall part) to create your LoS block at the top of S2. Peeping through those tiny spaces on either side and sniping the enemy sniper through it was a lot of fun and a memorable aspect of The Pit. It hurts your remakes accuracy to not have it included.
I can understand why you're proud of this! This map is almost an exact replica of the original and I'd imagine it'd play like it, too. After a bit of exploration I discovered that you'd missed out some important kill boundaries. You can run around the tops of the bases (only accessible with a jet pack), providing an advantage to some players because they have an extreme height advantage. You might want to fix this.
Thanks for the feedback everyone and Ill get to the kill boundaries eventually, (hopefully soon) As for anything else feel free to move things around and save it to your liking I checked out a couple of other pit remakes and I just didn't really like what I had seen. Most of them made it so that you had to sprint to make the jumps and that's why I am so proud of mine because not only can you make all of the original jumps from the "The Pit", The sprinting doesn't effect much game play because the map is proportioned to it's actual size. Which is pretty big.
Thanks Try to promote this a little if anyone can I would really appreciate it. I feel as if no one has checked it out.
