"An estate, now evicted, no longer sustains the flesh of the living but another kind." --The Zombie(s) will spawn in a tunnel. The Zombie(s) make their way through a tunnel system and can choose to take the high path or choose to enter through the basement. But beware Zombies, you may find yourself to be burnt to a crisp going in through the basement. The Mercenaries will spawn in the basement. They can either choose to stay and defend the first house of multiple levels, or fall back to the second house or proceed to a fortified area. In the second house you will find a loft which leads to a roof. On the roof you will find various weapons to help defend from above. The Mercs can also fall back to two fortified areas. In these areas are many weapons that can defend against a Zombie invasion. Overall this map contains many areas that can easily be defended depending on the mercs choice and taste. If you are looking for a well-balanced, fantastic, and fun map to play... this map is for you! The map is named Eviction. The game type to be played is called "Zombie Infect." The map can be downloaded here: (Eviction) http://www.bungie.net/forums/posts.aspx?h3fileid=36083314 The Game Type is located here: (Zombie Infect) http://www.bungie.net/forums/posts.aspx?h3fileid=36083448 Here are some screenshots of the map: House 1 "This is the first house the Mercs will spawn in... stay or run... your choice." House 1: Basement "The area where the Mercs will spawn, The Basement. Who wants to torch some Zombies?" House 2 "House number 2. Hidden in this house are some good things to take with you. The roof is even better." Fortified Area 1: "The first of two fortified areas where the Mercs can defend their last breath." This map is just simply fun to play.
the reason is that you can't link them directly from bungie. what you do is right click the pic in the scrn shot viewer and press save to comp. I saved it in my halo 3 pics folder. THen sign up for photobucket(its the best) then upload them there and link them here.
Welcome to forge hub! Im sure you have great map, but i can't see the pictures, for help on posting maps, click HERE!
Welcome to Forgehub. Your pictures don't seem to be working. Instead of linking them off of Bungie.net (that will never work) upload the pictures to photobucket or imageshack. You may also want to look at these guidelines
yeahh! lets all repeat what the other person said. Ill give you a DL. We, as in me and my friends, need more Zombie maps. =D
The thing is that last night when I linked them the pictures worked fine. This morning when I checked after recognizing this problem, the pictures don't even work directly from bungie. What I will try to do is instead of just having them on high-res screenshots, I will upload them to my File Share and then save them to my computer and put them up later today. Sorry all for the complications.
Nice map, I downloaded it. I have a question. Have you considered taking out the flamethrower in this map? It seems that the flamethrower is the only un-balanced part to this map. Is there anything you could do to fix this? Any suggestions that you have if you have found any.
What I have found is that if you are to delete a crate in the first house on the top level(to get some money), and if you place a "sheild door" in the crate hallway, that connects the two houses, directly in the center, it will alter the play and limit the flamethrower's power. If you play with the "Zombie Infect" gametype, the Zombie's speed should balance this out. Thanks for the comment. If you have another just ask.
looks pretty damn cool but it seems like mercs be overpowered do the the zomcies have shields or resistance? but as of right now 4/5
Not half bad dude. Needs a little work and to me seemed a bit unoriginal but whatever I'm new here so just do what you do. Peace out
Not bad, but non interlocking is usually frowned upon at forgehub... But your map looks pretty decent despite... Welcome to forgehub and keep up the good work 4/10
