The Throne Room: Competetive 1v1 and 2v2 map

    The Throne Room was designed to be played as a sort of 1v1 warm up map, but has proved to be a decent 2v2 map though some testing. The map features two initial ordinance (Sniper at gold Railgun at purple) with a 2 minute resupply time and a random damage boost spawning at the very top of the map.

    I like to play 1v1 with no radar, no personal ordinance, Loadout with primary rifle of choice and thruster pack and I also like to set speed to 120% to improve the thruster pack and make some of the jumps alittle easier.

    This actually looks really nice!
    I'll come back later tomorrow and tell you what I think of the map.
    It almost looks like a Jetpaker's paradise.(and by jetpacker, I mean me. :D)

    EDIT:

    Well, that was fast. I got to run around on the map and my thumbs are tingaling to try out a real game on this. (With your suggested settings of course)

    I really like how crazy you went on those tac-jumps, there's got to be like what over a dozen of 'em? I also noticed the invisble wall that was showcased on THFE you placed at the top of map, of which I think is just awesome to see in full affect on the map.

    One thing that kind of worries me though, are those sniper towers. I'm could wrong, and they could work just fine. Yet, I think that a simple Fusion Coil wouldn't hurt and help
    add Risk/Reward to that area.

    But yeah, I think it's cool map. :)

    Hey thanks for the feedback. In regards to the sniper towers, they are really easy to grenade so I find them to be balanced.

    Welcome back, Fragon. I thought you went offline?

    Spawning seems worrying to me. From what I can see, most of the spawn points are near/in intersections or long LoS. Then again, if there aren't spawnkills in testing, it should be fine.

    I really like the look of this map.
    It's clean, and you have used some of the forge pieces in interesting ways.
    I'll download this one tonight.

    You should expect me to be a bit more active now that Halo 4 is out.

    About the spawns, if the map where to be played 4v4 this would be a huge issue, but in 1v1 and 2v2 you will find that they will spawn on the opposite side of the map behind plenty of cover most of the time. I have played around 30 1v1s on this map and have found 1 spawn that you can see consistently and that's standing gold 2 looking at rail spawn, you can only kill them off spawn with sniper and its a very hard shot to make. Something else I should say is that the map doesn't play exactly as intended due to instant respawn which I hope should be patched come 1.1
