I have improved on the reach version, and am looking forward to using the new aesthetics to get the ship interior, bridge and power room looking great. It will be mainly be for aesthetic purposes and maybe even a machinima, but as always it will be a playable map. Most of the exterior is done and I am happy so far. The interior is fairly simple as of yet and I still have around 1250 budget left for interior layout. Lay out all flows man cannons have been added to bottom to improve flow and work [SIZE=4]well, also a grav zone has been used to get back to bridge making [SIZE=4]3 ways to get to bridge, top middle and bottom[SIZE=4]. [SIZE=4]I have added a few weapons[SIZE=4] too![/SIZE][/SIZE] [/SIZE][/SIZE][/SIZE] Some pictures So this is almost ready for testing phase and I am looking forward to some customs to see how it plays, but this is mainly for aesthetics. Damn Timmy, that's pretty sweet. That has to be one of the coolest looking cruisers I've seen in Forge. Nice work man!
welcome back, remember me? (if you don't it might be for the best ) It looks great, but perhaps you should use rails to create the lower part of the bridge, as the brace, larges don't really do it justice if you don't mind, I could go into forge and do some tweaking.
Thanks guys! Thanks, I am also unhappy with the parts sticking out of the bottom, the pointy part is more accurate now, But maybe I do need to re-think that area. The pieces that I thought looked a lot cleaner are infact very busy. The plain brace is now not so plain. now that precision has been downgraded intricate forging has become a lot more difficult, but I like a challenge. There are problems with the size... the head sets the size and there are only so many ways of forging the round head, Also the head uses most of the blocks. I couldn't easily use any other piece instead of the braces. But I am open to suggestions. Appreciate the feedback and throw us an invite when I'm online
looks awesome, its a shame they don't give you the forge option to use different textures though. the only thing missing is the shiny purple paint!
I was so sceptical when I saw the thread title. Not because of your forging talent, trust me if anyone could pull this off it'd be you. My concern was that the UNSC palette would end up making it look dreadful. Thankfully that is not the case. This looks stunning.

I did feel tempted to add a jammed air lock or some of the impact pieces....especially at 10 bucks a pop but I have refrained myself [br][/br]Edited by merge: Not seen a purple one but yeah I agree texture and colour are a large part to an aesthetic piece. All along the top should be black like the circle going around head. I know some have used halo 2 on pc and edited colours and textures of individual pieces, also on Skyrim on pc so it is definitely possible.

Allright I have fixed the head up and other parts that were bothering me and I am happy with where I am up to so far, lay out is done and spawns and weapons are down and I am looking forward to some play tests. Whoa... This is stunning looking Timmy. You really know how to work those curves. And on the contrary, I think the bridge looks nice. A different piece could have been used for the floor perhaps, but other than that this is phenomenal. Also, don't worry about file browsers right now dude. Go ahead and put this gem on your fileshare so we can all marvel it. lol
Thanks, I have finished this aesthetically and have added 2 beta versions to my file share. 1 Full aesthetics and the other has less objects for better framerate. I do still need to add capture the flag and testing went well so far and it has received a good reception so far. Thanks [br][/br]Edited by merge: Thanks , yeah need help testing this. It hasn't been a rushed project and have put in a few hrs now and again getting this made and ready... probably took 7-8 hrs to make the majority of this ship and probably 10 more hrs tweaking and fixing layout. Everywhere is accessible without teleporting. I have added low gravity on top of ship and on the pointy part to get around easily and smoothly. Have only done a few tests and want to do a lot more testing and tweaking while 343 sorts out fileshares. Thanks
