So, I can't help but notice that some of the features they added were, well, nifty. Magnets for example, pretty cool. I personally, don't use them that much. Delete Everything Button, on the other hand, is fantastic. However, they did slack on a few things. One thing I've noticed is that there is no more zooming in as the Monitor or using Fine Adjustment. What are y'all's opinions on the new Forge System? Likes? Dislikes?

Dislikes: -Crates, barriers, cannot be moved by players and weapons. Have not tested vehicles. -As previously stated removal of fine editing -Ravine and Erosion, while having interesting palettes, are not the most forge-friendly geometry-wise -No buddy flying vehicle Likes -Magnets, my do I love magnets, it's just so fast. -Duplicate, goes great with magnets. -The new pieces are appreciated. Usually people like to forgo prefabs for their "lego blocks" but the station pieces and silos on impact in particular are great. -Impact provides a lot more space on each asteroid than I expected. Especially the non building one, you can go on almost any part of it without fear of a softkill. -It feels like they've expanded the amount of objects we can forge, especially since many gametypes do not have to delegate weapon placement anymore. -Trait zones are awesome. -Gravity volumes have a future in mini games, they push objects rather than just lowering gravity.
DISLIKES: .the forge pieces have an even worse color palette compared to reach's .places to forge at suck, i just wish they remade forge world and kept all the halo 4 game mechanics .removal of fine editing .all the objects are rounded off around the corners .a lot of the decorative pieces in reach designed to fit 2x4 or 2x2 measurements have retarded random lengths and widths (i.e. the new cover pieces) .the designs of each block suck and have TOO MUCH detail and line design work on them to work with in new creative ways, a key aspect of forge .you don't carry momentum when switching in between forge mode and normal mode .no falcon/hornet LIKES: .dynamic lighting .a lot of pieces with ramps now have stairs .inclines look better in terms of design but the fact that they still have a white color sucks. overall, the biggest problem are the object colors, I thought reach had bland colors, everything was blue and gray, but in Halo 4 forge there are hardly any secondary colors, every piece is primarily white, i tried building a section of a map i had an idea for, and the entire thing just looked like white trash, literally. Also they forge environments are trash. god halo4ge is awful, for 2 reasons only, it's really sad.
