I was bored one day while trying to think of a good custom game, then I thought, "If someone could make a Pac-Man map and gametype, why can't I make a Legend of Zelda map and gametype?" So, after hours of work, I now present to you, Legend of Zelda (Halo style). The Rules: The Gametype is VIP. One team will consist of two players: Link and Zelda. The other team will have the rest of the players: Ganon and his minions. Link must try to get to all seven destinations before dying three times. The minions should start in this blocked off area. In the middle will be a custom power up and a grav lift. Above the grav lift will be a teleporter. Whoever picks up the custom power up will become Ganon and have gravity low enough to go through the teleporter which leads to the place where Link will fight Ganon. Everyone else will have to go through the teleporters at the bottom. Ganon can watch Link and Zelda fighting his minions by jumping through a two way node which leads to the inside of a box which he can see out of. The minions can also watch Link fight Ganon by doing the same thing. For Link to get to the final destination, he'll need to park the chopper on the reciever node and walk through the sender nodes. The settings: Link: 500% damage resistance. Sword and Sniper rifle (Master sword and bow and arrow). 50% Leech (because enemies drop health when they die sometimes. Zelda: 300% damage resistance. Sniper rifle and Spartan Laser (regular arrow and light arrow). 50% Leech. Minions: 300% damage resistance. Gravity Hammer and BR (club and arrow). 50% recharge. I never liked it for Nintendo, but maybe the Halo version will be better. The castle looks a little plain, you could definitely add onto it.
Honestly, it's nothing like Zelda. A zelda map could be hard to create, and if your gona try and recreate one make it like the real thing. Sorry for the criticism, but it's not that good compared to Zelda.
I can accept criticism (as long as it's not too harsh), and that is the best I could make it. Since Zelda is 50% puzzle, 50% action, and 50% plot, yeah, it would be hard to recreate on Halo. But I took what Halo gave me and forged what I could.

Looks pretty good, nice idea, before dling it though, it would be nice to see more overview map pics.
nice zelda map, i like the structure you built in front of the base, the gametype sounds fun and i will download it along with the map.
I'm not a real zelda fan, but it looks fun from the pictures. Good Job and I don't think you need the "and gameplay" in the title.
