- You get the power weight (hp) and power band (SpD) in their places, but you can get most of the good items from the PWT. - I'd say that the 3DS is better. The Slide-analog stick feels alot better, it supports WEP and WPA codes for getting Wifi (may not apply to you), and yeah the Dream Radar too (it costs $3 though). You ***** about the dumbest things. Just go ahead and stop playing BW/BW2; it'll make you feel better. Pure and Simple. btw, you can turn the battle scene off so it doesn't perform any of the move animations.
Woah now, they give you a shiny ingame? dayum... that might affect my choice. I may have been mistaken but I thought DSi supported those wifi codes as well, I should probably look into that, as im fairly sure my internet has a wep code. I just dont want to spend a whole lot of money on a ds im likely to only play pokemon games on. but, if money was no problem, the 3ds is the better choice?
How's everyone's team? I'm up to Drayden right now, and here's my team: Emolga - 45 Flygon - 48 Lucario - 43 Arcanine - 45 Samurott - 46 Axew - 32 (Training) I'm debating on whether or not to keep Flygon or to get my Haxorus. To be honest, I don't like my team that much. I really only like Lucario, Arcanine, and Samurott. Got any ideas as to what I should use?
All i know is once i get the game, my team will be including Luxray, Tyranitar, Hydreigon, Chandelure, a Sharpedo with speed boost and something else. Maybe Reuniclus. I have a thing where I always have a male electric type nicknamed Voltaire. (Its been a Luxray ever since 4th gen)
Lol, also Haunter + Gastly. I do find that some of these new pokemons' names sound so stupid to me.... I do like Lucario, though. He was pretty great for competitive play, wrecked some noobs using a BP team.
Lucario is WAY overused, probably even more than Tyranitar, which is probably the most overused pokemon that I ever use in a team. I always liked using a Tyranitar/Cacturne combo for double battles back in gen 3, but that probably isnt very good anymore. Anyways Gr4phix, with my limited knowledge of gen 5, I'll suggest Abomasnow or Piloswine. You have a lot of types in common with your pokemon, and some variation (like an ice type) could go a long ways. Not sure if you'd be able to get anything like that though, so take this with a grain of salt.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I was upset with my team (even though they're all level 50 at the moment) and I went on the Marriland PokeTeam Tool, so I came up with this team: Serperior - Grass Starmie - Water/Psychic Lucario - Fighting/Steel Flygon - Ground/Dragon Chendelure - Ghost/Fire Elektross - Electric I've about 5 immunities with this, assuming that my Elektross gains the Levitate Ability.
Levitate is Eelektross's core ability so you're good. Smooth Team btw. Starmie + Chandelure = Pure Insanity
I hear that the heat form of Rotom is a beast special sweeper, Overheat and volt switch being pretty strong and all. It also negates ground weakness with levitate, just 2* weakness to rock and water. I think I might use one in my team.
Im just about to get my Lucario up to lvl 100, it'll be my first time getting one, I just have 2 levels to go I've decided I dont give two shits about type variance in my team and am running with; Lucario (Starfox) Shiny Dragonair (Ouroborus) - might replace it with a shiny Haxorus once I fill the unova dex and get access to the nature preserve. Scrafty (Fancypants) Honchkrow (Nevermore) Spiritomb (Tombstone) Metagross (Ironhide) If anyone is playing black/white 2 and wants to trade/battle, Im up for it. Friend code = 2581 1988 8070 edit: I just noticed I said Lucario is way overused on the last page, lol. Im such a hypocrite.
"Hey guys! Let's make the legendaries look like letters of the alphabet! We haven't used those yet, right" "What about the Unknown?" "Pfft. We'll just make these ones into a giant bird, and a giant deer thing." Seriously though, I'm ****ing pumped.
"3DS". Just ruined the entire announcement for me. I am unable to see 3D in any form due to a genetic defect with my vision, even the 3DS gives me a headache within 3 minutes of playing and I'm not buying a new DS just to play this game.
Well if you did, it can still be played in 2d. I am also so excited, and I just can't hide it. Eager to see more 6gen pokemon. By the looks of the 3 starters, I like it better than 5th and 4th so far. Maybe. It's debatable.
