I borrowed it again, so I'm playing now. Man am I rough. Plus I keep mixing up Recon and Fishstick, so I botch half my battles.
Some of us don't have the game yet, you incencitive... I jest. Now tell us about how the shade turret works in H4.
Anyone who ordered the LE having trouble with the specializations not being unlocked? Also, the Forrunner sniper shows a hell of a laser beam out the front of it when zoomed so gives away position even more than the small laser out of the spartan laser in reach or 3. I think that is a glitch though cause none of the other snipers do that.
I finally had some time to watch the MLG matches from Dallas, and I must say, this is leagues ahead of what Reach MLG put forth. I am excite bike.
You're going to the launch then? I would have saved you a spot at the start of the line had I known, I was going to go but I thought I was the only one of my friends so I ordered online. Now some of my friends have been waiting since 4pm because they changed their minds.
trying to convince my friend to take me to the launch, if not, i might not get the game till like wednesday lol
I'm level 18 and already have everything I want unlocked. BR, DMR, Boltshot, Pro Vision, Thruster, Jet Pack, Mobility and Dexterity. The only thing left is extra loadouts, and 3 is fine for now. Having all the stuff I want after one night of play isn't bad at all, though it does make me question the longevity of the levelling system. Still, that was never really a concern of mine, not something that keeps me playing, but I wonder how it'll affect those who rely heavily on Player Investment Systems to keep them interested. Also, the Railgun and SAW are absolutely awesome. Soooooooooo much fun.
DMR, no question. Though I settled right in to that thing since very early on in Reach, so that's quite a personal thing. The BR definitely seems like a viable option, particularly outside of BTB (in terms of map size). I know you love that thing, so I think you'll feel right at home with it, though be sure to give the DMR a try to see how it feels.
Cool. I was worried there would be a clear choice amongst the competitive community, and judging from Dallas, it just isn't there. well thats good to hear, let's get some customs in this weekend!
I still think the DMR is going to have an edge for the competitive scene, but not as big as I thought before watching Dallas and playing tonight. I'm still very much finding my feet, so my views could change a decent amount, but right now I think the BR is more viable than I expected it to be, which is obviously a good thing. And yeah, customs fo sho, as long as you're not on at stupid o'clock like normal
