Thats correct sir. And to what you said earlier about forging being faster, that reall makes me happy! The whole reason I practically quit forging was because I could never finish anything with my busy life schedule. Now I just might be able to forge again!
All 3 powerups are gone. Overshield however can still be done technically, but making an ordnance drop (initial) and setting it to Overshield. same effect, except it tells everyone it's there until someone grabs it.
If you mean that the PP and chargeable boltshotgun (unless they nerfed it since the bulletin) are too powerful, I agree. I don't see the problem with a secondary which is useful when you're not out of ammo for your primary in general, but the noob combo, vehicle EMP with plasma grenades, and shotgun tactics will be so much more prevalent in large (PP) and small maps (boltshot) when they were already very powerful and frustrating to fight against. They probably really wanted to make the boltshot do mauler damage, but with the PP taking out shields up close in much the same way (it wasn't as easy as I would expect in H3 or Reach) the boltshot had to be a 1sk. I still would not be surprised if the pistol worked on medium maps, though, because it did seem to have a higher ROF than the DMR and equivalent damage per bullet. On Adrift, that might mean that a pistol and a boltshot would be the best combination- By any chance, do they have a perk which lets you spawn with two secondaries?
Well I dont care what anyone says, I friggin loved the mauler. You guys that hate it are just the people that used to come around that corner on Guardian just to get your face blown off with the smallest gun in halo, by yours truly.
Custom powerup>trait zones. I've lost 1000 map ideas just to gain few "Outta space maps on impact" not worth the trade imo. I actually like the fact that power weapons/drops/w.e there called are shown on HUD, (Can it be turned off?) High level games everyone knows when there gonna spawn anyway so doesn't effect super competitive games and helps newer players learn to control power weapons and there timers, I hope it can be turned of though. Good thing overshield is back though there making sure the MLG crowd is happy, Because if casuals are happy and MLG is happy everything in between must be happy.
****, powerups are gone? With no custom weapons for infected AND no powerups the gametype I've been testing for ages in Reach won't work here D:
Goodbye minigames. The little hope that was left for me after finding out Insane gametype was already gone, is now completely dead. **** how I wish I had just made those delayed projects in Reach instead. That's the point. They don't give a damn about the forgers. Witness the fact that Invasion, Race, Insane gametype, One sided gamemodes and Infection used for minigames are all gone. I'm starting to believe more and more that Halo 4 is gonna suck for forging and be great for everything else. Can't wait for the campaign, I missed the Chief.
