this. the infection variant was always the unique solution when coming up with gametypes. i used it for a minigame, i know sarge had a whole minigame that utilized it. it's just a unique gametype that could fit so many contexts. no other gametype has random team selection, and the aspect of switching to the other team upon death. thinking outside the box, that gametype was essential. now we're just stuck in the box. damn 343 and their "YOU MUST PLAY THIS WAY ONLY" attitude.... can the infected get into vehicles? if not **** like Cat and Mouse got a bit harder to make. also THAT is awesome. so if you can change skins to flood outside of flood mode, i'm wondering about the opposite. what setting is that? and does it grey out the setting for changing weapons? or is it a simple skin change in flood mode that would allow carrying weapons that others have missed.

There lays the problem, Scores mean nothing to anyone it's a useless arbitrary number. I don't know anyone who takes reviews seriously outside of the reviewers(because its there job) and developers(because they can say look at my 9.9/10 people will presume my game as been good) Except for maybe Transhuman who's been comparing reviews like bible segments. I know the mechanics of halo 4 is amazing and coding and DMR/BR fights will always be amazing in any halo game that's no doubt its why i love halo games, Its the underlying meta game formed from weapon balance and loadout mechanics that worry me(that is really hard to capture on film). Looking at gameplay doesn't provide enough info to say the meta game will be anymore fun then reach. As an example I've played a game of league of legends and had the most intense game ever(Jayce V nid top) non stop back and forth play really intense(for everyone in game) to play like minefield where one wrong move your dead but tons of chances to take the lead but risky either way 1000 things happening at once but the clip i saved of it looked boring like nothing was happening. lol. Anyway, I'm wondering how turning into a flood in any game mode works and if you'll be able to carry weapons other than the flood claw. I assume that the main reason that the flood couldn't hold other weapons was because of the skin; 343 decided it would look weird or something. I can't imagine why they would allow it in every gametype except for infection, where the flood skin is supposed to be used.
Considering how 343 says that they'll be releasing several updates to the game, I'm sure they'd make a normal Infection gametype that can be modified if enough people complain about it since it would be so simple for them to code up. Also, lawl, I found some funny H4 mods. Someone made: -all grass on Ragnarok INCREDIBLY tall, including the renders of trees on the outskirts of the map -warthog-scorpion combo -disabled spartan armor, leaving the player with nothing but a nanosuit -firing a weapon at something will call an orbital missile strike -tactical nuke effect where explosions will be heard and the map will temporarily go Nova FX and get blurry.
I lol'd at this disclaimer pretty hard. But I agree completely. Whats the point in looking/discussing reviews? Everyone here is buying the game regardless what any reviewer said. Its been said dozens of times already that the only opinion that matters is your own. Enough already!

Here's a question silence: how do the different blocks match up? Like say I have a 4x4 block as a platform with 3x1's leading to it as a bridge will it match up fairly well or look stupid? Or if I need a floor to be 4x6 & I place a 4x4 next to a 2x4, are they two completely different pieces like in Reach? Also are there ANY useful or cool NEW peices at all?
They are all different, but they do match up better than in Reach. Erosion has some useless solid pipes, I haven't really checked out Ravine because I feel the lighting is a little harsh, and Impact has some really neat stuff that I'm very excited to see what the community does with. [br][/br]Edited by merge: One warning for you guys though... the wider bridges and beveled edges on some of these pieces have me running into trouble already while trying to re-create something that already exists. Expect to have to re-think some of your designs from Reach. If you're creating from scratch, I don't think you'll find much issue, because you'll know what to avoid. [br][/br]Edited by merge: Also, I feel you guys misunderstood me earlier, and I worded it poorly. You cannot make the character models into flood in any gametype. You can merely force the Flood screen effect for players, along with the speed boost, damage boost, etc screen effects.
I just watched the trailer(?) for the Augmented Reality event that's supposedly going on in London tomorrow (Monday). Never before have I wanted to live in London so badly
So I preordered Halo 4. I'll now get 5 in-game bonuses as well as 6 instead of 2 classes on release date or something like that. Jay. I wanted to say that this is also the very first game I've ever preordered.
