Magnets are very useful actually. Speeds up a lot of stuff, especially when paired with object duplication. I just turn it off when I'm not using it, or it ****s me up. Overall building is faster, but small detailing is now snail paced.
Do you think the precision movement is something they could easily add back in? I mean maybe it is worth asking for in a Q&A session with 343i
doubt it, tweaking settings is fine, but adding in a new feature is more effort than a corporation will put into a Post-release game
When developing the game those things would probably have required very minimal code, but changing it in the (I assume compiled and compressed) code on a disk would be incredibly difficult because it's an overarching change not compartmentalized to a gametype like the insane gametypes.
I was reading the halo bulletin, and read this : The mammoth is CURRENTLY only in campaign. Is this a hint? Thanks thesilencebroken, for answering all those questions even though i did not ask them. They were very useful, and i have one, if you want to answer that. Can you sit on the sides of the scorpion? And i just realized impact is way bigger then i thought... If you guys want to see some forge action go here quickly! : Halo 4 Early Access Live Stream - YouTube They were live-streamin halo, but now they are doing things in forge, no limitations.
probably included "currently" to stop the fanboy complaints As I find, most companies will never tell you no to you face
But are we sure it's exclusion was a conscious choice & not a glitch or accident? It might be something they'll patch in later. Sounds like Rotation Snaps in that sense, which is what I assumed would be the case all along. If you don't turn Rotation Snaps off in Reach, you can really mess up stuff that you have rotated to off-angles (or stuff that was snapped, just to a different angle than what you currently have set).
The reviews with something different to say are the only ones saying something different. I've never claimed that any review I've linked is indicative of all the reviews as a whole. If anyone wants to read a positive review of Halo 4, pick a teat and suck. They all taste the same.
Thats true.. Weird that you cant sit on the sides of the scorpion, i saw marines on it, would be pretty cool for some infection or something. But then again, in halo reach the odst could sit on the sides too.
EXACTLY my problem with everything you are posting. These joke reviews are literally for hits. Give Halo 4 a 7? People are talking about you now. Claim it's because it doesn't mimic things other shooters do and dock it points entirely based on personal preference? There is your shabby pretence so you can pretend to defend yourself. I find it completely hilarious that you come in not only that they're credible in the first place, but that they're more credible than than sites that have given it a higher reviewer because "they are bought/pressured into conformity". Now to reiterate my problem once more: I don't care if this is this guys opinion or whether or not he actually feels these things or if it's all for hits. He can say whatever he wants, whenever he wants. My problem is he represents an establishment and when he posts this "review" it because representative of that establishment's view of the game. Furthermore, it is taken into account as a "critic" score and combined into the score on metacritic, when in actuality it's just one guys opinion which he has arbitrarily chosen a semi-low number for whatever his own personal reasons are. There are positives in a game, there are broken factors which detract from point scores and there are levels of personal enjoyment. I have no problem with official reviews mentioning whether or not the writer enjoyed something and whether he thinks Halo should be a ADS shooter. However, I do have a problem when the reviewer factors that into the score because, as mentioned above, that score does mean something. Does it mean as much for AAA titles? Maybe not, but it may affect how developers choose to focus in the future.
And given his dislike of modern shooters and views on games that focus more on multiplayer than single player, I think we can tell how his review is going to go.
God damn some of these matches are ridic. So good Fun Police vs Instinct. WWWilliam needs to watch these games to understand why Reach sucks
