im really excited about the gameplay of extraction. its basically just assault combined with territories... looks really fun. also, the railgun looks super boss. thats the first decent chunk of gameplay ive seen with it.
similar, but anti-infantry instead of anti-vehicle. the charge time is much quicker, and theres no zoom.
i guess, but the significantly reduced charge time is a pretty serious buff, when it still one shots any player. and theres no tracking laser viewable by everyone while its charging
Thank you, Been saying this for Reach for years. Who was the dude that said it? I must know, was he a 343 worker? There is a word in the biz for this kind of thing its called "Pay to win" which this isn't it. Pay to win, Means you pay to get an advantage otherwise unavailable or Pay to get a significantly huge (available to f2p) advantage over other players. It's a cash grab obviously and It's usually done by F2P games or smaller company's to pay for servers and keep the game alive along with other aesthetic micro purchases but Doritos, Mountain dew, 343i and Microsoft don't have the problem of keeping up servers but they are company's and there main desire is to make money so can't blame them for that(No worse then DLC imo) "Get little boost for extra cash" "Get little map for extra cash" It's a fine practice but can seem a little underhanded for already huge company's try squeeze more money out but that's what company's are for, to make money.
Someone forged the pit in Halo 4. The gamer isn't a great forger, but I have to compliment 343i and say that the new textures on Erosion are a very nice fresh take. Nice to get away from the grays of Reach. Looks pretty promising.

yes, i agree. and i think thats about all i can say about that remake. i like the way erosion looks. but if i was going to remake the pit, i'd have put it on Impact.
After 1:40 in that video the pistol and soon after the DMR are shown used at their max ROF, and the pistol's seems to be slightly faster. The pistol seemed to take down shields in 4 shots (like the DMR), although I might have miscounted (starting and stopping the video was double clicking which fullscreened it, which took a while to load). If that's the case, the choice of secondary could be a bit harder, because all else equal (shots missed would often be equal in a well-matched game), you would lose to pistol user if you used your primary because you didn't pick a pistol secondary. I think it's funny that the AR is now a buffed primary, there is a new power weapon AR (saw), and an armor mod which lets you move faster with a detached turret. I'm not saying that it will be a problem; the difference in kill times from the buffed primary rifles will be slim, and the AR's primary opportunity cost, the SAW's rarity, and the turret's limitations will make them an occasional nuisance at close range.
If you want an honest review of any AAA title, you look at the review that gives the lowest score first and work your way upwards, not the other way around. Not to mention that IGN is known for it's lack of dissenting opinions (i.e, they gobble PR balls).
