I realize that maps need to be up scaled for sprint and I love BTB but most maps here are geared to BTB which I like, but I don't like at the same time.
Somewhat random, yet related topic: Has anyone else noticed the cool little promotion IGN is doing for H4? At the beginning of some of their videos the video gets fuzzy and it switches to the Promethean logo and says "an ancient evil awakens", then it gets fuzzy again and switches back to the video. I just thought it was a pretty cool advertising method.
Personally, I'm a fan of BTB, but I realize that it has its time and place. It certainly shouldn't overrun the small maps. I think we should keep in mind that there will be 3 small forge maps included with the game as well, and with the textures starting to look much better, I think it will become dreary much more slowly. Small map count: Haven Adrift Solace Complex(?) Abandon Erosion map Ravine map Impact map That's not too bad if you ask me...
After about a month or so they will probably insert some community made maps. Which will hopefully consist of a few smaller arena style maps. Hopefully they pick maps that don't suck *coughReachcough* And hopefully with enough complaining, a playlist that features BR starts, no sprint, and some smaller maps.
I mean a playlist people will actually go into All others as separate start options and pickups on map sure. Also have't seen any discussion on these yet. Do you think they will be available in MP? New Vehicles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntC1wcaZXCA&feature=youtu.be
Noticed that too, have the same idea. Its the didacts symbol. What do you guys think about the new vehicles? (Only being in campaign) The broadsword for the UNSC and the Lich for the covenant. Im not so intrested in the Broadsword, it was in reach already and now it seems a replacement for the Sabre, and only used in Spartan Ops. But i am intrested in the Lich, seems pretty cool, although to me it looks again like an carrier like the phantom, wich drops in the covenant. I just saw that there are going to be 10 chapters of spartan ops, meaning 50 missions. So we have 10 weeks of spartan ops, and after that its totally over?
"Seasons will be made up of Chapters containing five missions. Chapters will be released in weekly, free DLC's." So there's definitely multiple seasons. I have a sneaking suspicion that Season 2 might be set post Halo 4 as an interlude that leads right up until Halo 5.
Ehh, I think people are smart enough to play a second campaign if it means that they get to play a third one.
I think all of SpOps is set after Halo 4, I'm sure I'd heard somebody say it was set after the events of campaign. Either way Spartan Ops is the thing I'm most excited about multiplayer-wise. The campaign looks absolutely top notch, so if they can maintain that standard we're in for a treat.
There's no covenant multiplayer map because there's no covenant singleplayer levels either. Microsoft doesn't like purple.
Nooo, not frames, anything but frames. TELL MICROSOFT. GET RID OF FRAMERATE. (framerate is good, framerate lag is bad)
