Shut up man it had no chance against Le Muskets and you know it! Just remember: Favorite =/= The best
Altar looks like a very good map. Le Muskets is a very good gametype, as were the other maps that won FHF. Please don't insult any of them by saying they were undeserving.
Honestly, it's pretty useless to say something is undeserving in a popularity contest. Everyone has the same number of votes and the same weight under each of those votes. Clearly, enough people think it's deserving if it wins.
I agree. Can't there be at least one more? I was hoping to get a chance at it myself. I mean, it should be at least a week till anyone gets a good map out. Plus shouldn't this voting have started a week or more ago? That would have given us last few forgers a chance. By the way, all the maps in the voting look great guys. Good job and good luck to everyone.
Admittedly, this thread came out late. However, a shorter voting period was the best of very limited choices we could make so that FHF 41 comes out at all. At any rate, the nominations having been open longer should have helped 'the last few forgers' get their maps in.
Seeing as it said 'nominations ended october 21st' anyone that cared to read it would have passed on nominated anything posted after the 21st like mine and a few other maps. I'm bummed but alright. I guess we'll just have to focus the same effort we did on those into out halo 4 maps, if we all end up getting it.
I'm the only one that mentioned that gametype. I was kidding around though. I do realize all of these are only "favorites."
That is what I read.. and I was wondering why you were saying that... O_x Anyway, what's the time scheme for the first H4 FHF?
Deadborough! All the way man! Definitely one of my favourites. I think it could possibly be the most well thought out infection map EVER. Love it.
Does Deadborough still have framerate and discoing issues out the ass like when I played it ages ago?
Nope, there still some really small discoing at two of the very edges of the map but that doesn't affect gameplay at all. FlyingShoe ILR and pyro approve this as they checked it out in Forge to find ways to fix it, but didn't find any and agreed with each other that it was only minor anyway. It won't bother your game on it at all. Besides, if I wanted to get rid of the small bits of disco that are left on those edges I'd still have to delete half of the map.
