    Map Cobra
    New v1,4 opens new area. allows access from main floor to top floor
    up to 16 players team / FFA
    Game-types:Slayer KOTH Head Hunter Swat Juggernaut

    Cobra is a 3 level map featuring a center jump lift that you can access at 2 levels.
    Bottom level lift features some nice aesthetic water tile. Quick action can be found on cobra in all area's

    Power weapons
    Sniper at top
    Rocket launcher under the cobra sign
    Shotgun behind the back of main level jump lift.

    I see some areas on the map, from that video, that are extremely campable.

    Honestly, I would have to write a book if I was going to give feed back just from what I see in this video.

    I like the basic layout, but it's the execution that's the problem in my opinion. I didn't look at this one for very long unfortunately.


    • I liked rocket spawn but it could use a little less risk given the open nature of the map
    • Sniper spawn was OP
    • Lack of structure
    • Some very long and steep ramps
    • Can't say I liked the sign :p

    Too bad you didnt look at it long. it reminds me of construct with the center lift... You might of missed things like the moon water floor effect that I created before the bottom jump... 4 shots in the sniper... with a long respawn. Cant say I can please you its either too cramped for you or lacking structures.. Im not saying that ur feedback is a bad thing either.

    The sniper itself didn't look overpowered, the location that it spawned in did because of its immense height advantage over other areas and the lack of viable routes into it. In the video, you can see that area being abused as the player was waiting for others to come up the lift so that he could simply pummel them back off. A strong counter position would help or perhaps place a power weapon that doesn't fair well in open positions up there.

    Hahaha, my standards aren't very high. I just happen to think that this map is too open. That's just my opinion though, do with it as you will.

    as a sprinter you can jump from the side bases prefab second level to the sniper pit also jet pack. As you might see in the video the rocket launcher guy wtf pwns some one in the sniper pit while jet packing.

    The thing is though, not everyone is going to use jetpack. You shouldn't have players be forced to use a certain AA in order to have a balanced layout. It's usually good to have at least two hard routes (by foot) to and from each "area" of a map. But in the case of the snipe spawn there are none. Having only a grav lift to take you there is definitely going to lead to camping. Even if you use jetpack someone can just camp there waiting for you to fly up and there pummel you.

    Would you jet pack up the jump pad way or would you jet pack up on one of the raised sides? Personally id just sprint jump from the pre fab base top floor on either side... giving 3 ways to the sniper by sprint. I know the video doesn't show it but in the latest version there's another ledge area across from the sniper where the coliseum wall is that you could even jetpack up to if you so desired and own anybody in the sniper area.

    anyways thou the sniper I believe was on a 180 timer for respawn.

    What campable area's.... with the exception of the sniper area which is actually assessable from the sides and from jet packing anywhere up the tower pieces where is another campable area?
