    Yay! It's published!

You've got to commend LynnJynh for this map. The layout if you break it down as simply as possible is much like Monolith's, but he's certainly put his own spin on a completely new creation and it's come out as something that even I consider unique.

To the guy that called it 'Sloppy', I'm not being defensive of my friend, but I think you're wrong. It has a certain aesthetic feel to it which is caused by the creator's use of more obscure immovable objects in the map geometry. It's like a lighter, more colourful Monolith and it's great, but it's not at all poorly forged.

Great job on the map, and amazing job on the post LynnJynh!

The map layout is interesting, however it looks sorta cluttered with the interlocking going on. I know sometimes its unavoidable however. A problem with your map I see is that it is very very easy to jump out with a simple grenade or bruteshot jump. I saw you still had pieces left you should consider going back to make the walls a bit higher.

Yes, I would have like to make less escapable, but all all I had left was $4. With $4 I could very well make it inescapable. Besides, all you have to do is stand on the fusion coil and shoot it- that gets you out of the map well. Oddly enough though, in none of my games has anyone tried to escape. Weird, no?

As for the "cluttered" part, that's intentional. Its all about hallways. The map flows very well in games (especially Death-match). Isn't that better than the whole thing looking bare?

Well, I'm certainly happy you like it. Monolith was always my favorite of your maps- you knew that, right?- but this map actually plays rather different from it. The fusion coil boxes was a last minute inspiration that worked so well.

    Thank you.

Now I've got to get my next map to work properly- if only man-cannons cooperated- and its quite a bit more unique.

This map looks very very good. I like the trucks exploding into the map, but that could pose a problem as people could jump out of the map and camp there, but this is definitely a fantzmic map, and i shall d'l when i come back to my xbox 540.

You really do seem to be getting better at forging.
I remember your first map , Valhallian Fury. It was a simple map that didnt bring a whole lot of attention. And since on you seem to be getting progressively better at it. This map seems to be your masterpiece, your Monal Lisa. You should be proud of this creation. Because I sure as hell would.

Masterpiece? I'm afraid my masterpiece is still in the works- till then, play this map, after all, its finished. No, no- my maps only get better from here on. Only question is how long they'll take....

Still, thank you. I didn't even know anyone still remembered Valhallan Fury, it was so embarrassing, I removed it.

BTW, anyone know a good map that uses man-cannons? I'd like to see how other people have used them.

Aww, why is that? Personally- If Forge allowed me to, the sword would be a free-for-all only weapon. The thing is, FFA is just so much fun on this map.

Looks good, my only advice with a post that size is to have a link at the bottom as well, it just makes it easier.

Hmm, you may be right about that. That's a pretty good idea.... done.

BTW, Radiation is awesome. Play it with my siblings sometimes on split-screen.

Hell no. Aesthetics only matter in aesthetic maps. Why would people ignore a good map and pay attention to a crappy one that looks pretty. I would rather play a great game on an ugly map then a dumb game on a pretty map.

    beg to differ

I never said that prettier maps are better, I simply stated that people will pay attention more to a map that is neater. And aesthetics matter in all maps, it just so happens that it is the main focus in aesthetic maps. I've seen numerous times when a good map was ignored because of either a lack of neatness in the map itself or in the (ForgeHub) thread it is published in.

Wow... you certainly did a great job on this map. THe trucks are a cool touch. Definitely right about mounting weapons and inverted stairs, very aesthetic, very well done. My concern is the fusion coils lagging the game a little. Happen ever or no? Either way looks quite well done. Some places look a little bumpy without interlocking, but I think it will be fine... nice map though!!! Like how all your maps have a euro sign. Unique.

The interlevel tunnels made from open boxes look great, really well utilised. They do look a bit busy with the ends of items sticking out but at least its symmetrical and all the objects look necessary. Id rather see a tunnel that worked properly than one that looks perfectly clean yet doesn't play well.

Can't say as I've ever had a problem with lag- ever. The only time I ever lag when playing a game is when I play Team Fortress 2, I can't get into that game.

You are, amazingly, the first to say something about my euro sign. I use that to make my maps unique. Don't you just hate it when you have the same name as someone else's map?
