Borderlands 2 Discussion Thread

I was Critting a Badass Psycho in Frostburn Canyon yesterday, and he spat out "Pluto's not a planet!" I busted out laughing at the randomness of that statement. After two playthroughs, I'm still finding new bits of dialogue that totally crack me up. Gotta love it. My other favorites:
-Rat (dying while on fire): "I smell delicious!"
-Goliath (dying while on fire): "Now ladies think I hottie!"
-Goliath (after popping off helmet): Hey. Hey! HEY! HHHEEEYYY!!!

 

I've notice the completely random stuff too. The midgets say the funniest things like "Midg Midg no last words!"

There was another one from the midgets that had me cracking up for a while but I forgot it. Looks like I need to head back to Pandora and kill some midgets...

I am so jelly. One of the only oranges I have left is the Legendary Siren class mod. Another being the c.c. shotgun. Terramorphous is still easy to kill without it, because of the fibber from Mal.

Turns out Gaige the Mechromancer won't be coming out next week as previously announced...
Instead, she's being released later on today! For those that didn't pre-order Borderlands 2, she'll cost 800MS Points to download.

We have a party of all Mechromancers going right now, and I'm going to edit it into a montage, with dubstep! It's going to be sick!

 

I like the idea, I don't like some of her skill trees. You have to give up some things for others, not something I want to do.

 

I just had Anarchy level 200.. Jesus ****.

 

Came up with a super easy exp boosting method whilst training up my wife's mechro last night. I used a lv. 15 Infinity and a lv. 27 Bee, and two elastic bands. The rest is pretty self-explanatory - Rakk to the left of the Warrior platform. Clear off the active ones and spray the spawn point infinitely.

I think the glitch to instant spawn is still active, even with the recent patch. If anyone needs help with it message me.

Also, Gaige is brilliant. I can't express this enough.

 

I have traded in my Lvl. 44 Zero, for a try with the Mechromancer. Smart? Well i probaly should have finished my second walktrough, but i didnt expect that my zero, was going to be deleted.

Not dissapointed though, got enough fun with zero, and man Gaige is awesome so far, im only lvl 12 yet, but Deathtrap is an awesome companion.
I hear that Anarchy is the best skill to try out? Let me know, i have laser for deathtrap now and was going to check out the right skill tree so...
Awesome experience so far, feels like playing the game again but refreshed and with an awesome class. I really like Mechromancer, but i dont know if i like it more then Zer0, i have to become some higher Lvl to check that out. (Im kinda more of an assasin in this game, but an companion is just awesome and the skills are pretty beast)

 

perfect timing, i think i finally made the ultimate long-range menace, so it's high time i start a new, i've just to finish up about 10 quests first.

Sad faic. I was going to exploit that glitch where that one dude in Sanctuary who would give a free rare gun to you spawns every time on the console but apparently it was patched the correct rare occurrence.
