I hope they're sued out of their asses. Why is PETA still around? All they do is cause controversy

    Are you serious?

Who is PETA run by these days? Do they just attack everything with any sort of non-human animal in it? I thought Pikachu was a cuddly friend...

I've been wondering for years why PETA has never gone after Pokemon with all the other crap they complain about...

I think this was more about using pokemon as a metaphor rather than attacking pokemon directly.

Yes. There were also references to laboratory testing as well as hoarding and just general mistreatment such as not giving your pets a walk.

Penn and Teller did an awesome rant against PETA in an episode of Bullshit.

I believe it's on one of the other "PETA is ****ing retarded" threads on this site.

    That is the problem.
A non-profit organization that no one takes seriously would not have the ground that PETA has.

The reason they can do the things they do is because they have such wide support from animal lovers ignorant to what they do or absolute idiots who think they're actually helping the situation.

Yea, animal cruelty is a serious issue that should be punished against, but PETA's definition of animal cruelty is the loosest form of the definition I've ever seen. These people advocate that animals should be completely free to do whatever they want in our society and anything short of that is being 'cruel' to the poor animals. That is absurd because not even we are allowed to do whatever we want in out own society.

Best way to get people to quit PETA: Leave a bear in their house.
