if you're saying that assassin's creed is dated and halo 4 isnt because of its design then you are blind to what the halo franchise is.
It's like you're just changing the argument to suit your n- oh wait you totally are. Design =/= graphics.
Halo gameplay has been essentially the same for years, which I'm okay with. I enjoy playing Halo. Yes it changes some from game to game to keep if fresh, more than the Call of Duty franchise, but the core is still the same. Assassin's Creed changed a lot from one to two, but has only had minor improvements in the two trilogy.
i like halo, but it's design is simply derivative. just like assassins creed. you cant say one of their designs is dated without the other being so too.
How are you still not understanding that I'm not talking about design? Do you just read whatever you want to see?
so, tell me how to talk about things without talking about it. also i've covered both design and graphics cases with halo and AC. what would you be getting at saying AC is dated and then saying halo 4 is out on the same console?
You drew first blood. Stop being a douche and maybe you'll have no need to defend yourself, your viewpoints, or your inability to read.
its like you're wittering on about nothing. no, wait. that's exactly what it is. lets try again. in what way does ACIII look dated and how is halo 4 being on xbox relevant?
You don't even read what you write before you send it do you? This isn't an insult, it's just very apparent that you have no idea how what you say comes off. LOOK = Aesthetic quality. ACIII looks like it was made a decade ago. Hence dated. You mentioned it being on a console that came out a decade ago as a means of defending the look. Yet Halo 4 looks spectacular and is out on the same console.
then i said halo 4 also has bad aesthetics too. which you then decided to class as design. this has to be the longest eye-rolling experience ever.
Aesthetics, as in, the way it looks, not design. The quality of the look, not the quality of the design. You cited a specific design, the shield effect, that hasn't changed in years. You are clearly talking about design and not the graphics. Anyone with normal eyesight can see the massive difference in quality between the AC engine and the current Halo engine. It's night and day how much better Halo 4 looks graphically over ACIII.
shield effect. as in when it breaks. similarly with armor lock. both look real shitty. you're also comparing games which are entirely different. AC has used its engine to maximise how much it can render in one go they're having entire battles with several hundred NPCs. there's also far more animation in AC over halo. yes halo is far better looking than AC3, that would be down to it being more focussed, it being an FPS. but AC3 isnt really dated.
