Considering the look of forge world, the admission that there are 3 forge environments, and how far the skybox (is that the correct term?) seems to stretch out in the picture, I'd say it's a fair assumption to make, an educated guess.
I still don't think it is a forge map though. Though I suppose doing something like that would make a lot of sense. No reason to have three completely blank maps on the disc that will be useless for matchmaking until the community can come up with stuff. so why not just have some normal maps that have an extended area for forging in.
i did pause at that picture and try to think which map that was on.. i believe its on Complex. but i could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure they are use to the hand holding by now, it's not like they didn't just go ahead and make Jeff announce everything you do and give you 2 different medals for infecting players. Just think though, we have 8 more maps to go with the same idiot asking the same idiotic questions.
It makes me sad I'll never see a classic Halo again without AA's and crap Someone needs to get on making a good Halo clone for console. Also, what do you guys think MLG is going to do? I remember 343/MLG saying they had been working together to make sure the playlist was there at launch/very early..but from the looks of these default maps there aren't too many that are going to satisfy the competitive spirit of MLG. All forge maps? That'd be a little disappointing.
I dont think they will cover MLG before the release anymore, i guess you just have to wait and see. I never played that much MLG, but the footage i have seen looks promising. And now im just breaking in this discussion, i have 2 questions. Answer if you know it please. 1 - There are two new vehicles in halo, that are driveable. The first one is the mantis, is the second the mammoth? There are some rumors that it might be the pelican, but that is really hard to believe. I really hope the mammoth is driveable though (Riding fortress FTW) 2 - We cant play as the elites anymore But does anyone know if there is a chance we be able to play as another force, by that i dont mean the flood, i mean the prometheans. Well I could see them atleast using Haven and maybe Abandon. We still have two unannounced maps that could suit the MLG playlist as well.
They'll probably use Solace too. On a different note, I kinda hate the look of the new shotgun. Its probably really late to be complaining about something so trivial, but I just realized how much I dislike it.
i'm sure MLG will complain about everything and then end up making their own forge variants and only using the BR.
