I'm not pleased with myself for only just now catching the Mass Effect 3 train. Borrowed it off my friend on Saturday night and it is epic. I've played it for about ten hours now and I've only finished three missions. Plus, I like to explore the **** out of everything, pretty much to an OCD level, because I hate missing even minor details in games. I get very irritated at unnecessary authority. Not necessarily authority in the context of a classroom (where the teacher actually knows what they're doing) or as a means to intelligently lead large groups of people.. but more so in a small group setting.. or if the authority is just unnecessary altogether. Like this dude I met, he's really fun to hang out with, is funny, etc.. but he hates some things. Just straight out hates some things, and I can't understand why. He has little to no reasoning for it, he'll just hate it. I'll be like, "Why don't you like mustard?", he'll be like, "I don't know, I just hate it." End of story. Same with other, more important stuff. He's also very conservative. Me thinks I don't get along with conservatives too well (my old roommate was a member of the teaparty). Anyways, it's just certain personalities that really bug me sometimes. I'm all for creativity and stuff, and I think someone who shoots others down all the time or presents no leeway can be helpful in the shorterm (eg military training) but destructive in the longterm. As Einstein said, "Humiliation and mental oppression by ignorant and selfish teachers wreak havoc in the youthful mind that can never be undone and often exert a baleful influence in later life."
Just spilled milk on my laptop. Everything seems to be working fine, at the moment. Just waiting for some of the buttons to start sticking, though. Pretty sure I got most of it out, but we'll see.
I just like to ***** and whine... Oh, and I'm probably losing my job and house at the end of next month. Yeah, probably should have opened with that one...
I liked the first one, the second one was OK, the third was alright too, the cubes were just stupid. I wish they would go back to the old baddies, I want a two part Cybermen episode, or more Daleks. I feel that they start an episode, introduce a new species, and then abruptly end the episode.
Oh GOD no. The Cybermen and the Daleks have been done to ****ing death. Every season finale, over and over again. An episode here and there is fine, but my god they've gotten annoying. The third episode was atrocious, very very poor pacing. I liked the fourth episode.
I like them, they're a staple of the series, and I find it intriguing to watch the doctor face his worst enemies. I don't like when they introduce a new alien, and then either kill them off or forget about them.
Also, I hate java. I keep getting stupid errors that I don't know how to fix. All I want to do its write a class to make an object containing all of the standard D&D information (HP, AC, STR and the like), but apparently I can't even write a simple mutator method.
which is why they repeatedly bring back the newer ones and beat those until they're stupid and annoying. *cough* weeping angels *cough* still though, every time i see a dalek or a cyberman i get pissed. I even totally skipped Daleks in Manhattan altogether. my biggest peeve past daleks being annoying as **** is every time they show up it further reneges on my favorite arc ever in the new series, the doctor committing genocide.
I'm taking five hard-as-**** classes and working two jobs (one of them full time) an my girlfriend complains that I'm not trying hard enough to spend more time with her.
No, my contract expired but because my work contract is also up, and the **** buckets in HR can't dot the derps and cross the herps... I haven't got my new contract through yet. And as my housing contract expired, someone else has applied to take over my room, so... yeah. Slap the *****. And tell her **** could be worse... she could be dating me. And ****, I hate women... /Misogynisticwin
I don't hate women but I do hate their inherent inability to understand any situation outside their bubble. You understand, dontcha Internet?
Maybe you guys should start a club or something. As for any my frustrations? It's a shame there aren't any spectacular food joints in my area.
