It looks to me like they are holding a re-skinned sword and that would be so you can change the weapon that the zombies would be able to hold for customs and whatnot. Just so we're not limited to just that sword. But hey they could ruin infection too. They already killed ctf so whats another gametype at this point? Also what is the name of that map?
Thanks. It looks cluttered to me. I don't really like it from the pics. But thats just me. Maybe I'll like it more when I see it in game.
Wouldn't be surprised if the old Infection gamemode is gone. Classic CTF is gone, classic Grifball is gone (as far as I know), I'm sure Infection will follow.
of course classic grifball isn't gone, as long as they still have assault. [br][/br]Edited by merge: If infection flood is like hunters where you could not drop your weapon, then it would help out a little with infection variants that use weapon pickup, as you wouldn't have abillion swords lying around and the ability to let humans pick them up.
i dont understand how that is bad news. and i dont understand how re-skinning the infected "breaks yet another classic gametype." how is that bad? making the infected actually look infected seems pretty awesome to me. sounds like youre just looking for things to make negative. and justifying it by "we havent received any bad news lately" just sounds like youre expecting or even hoping for it somehow.
343i confirmed that "Flood" is an infection variant, meaning that we will also have regular, good old fashion infection as well. I wonder what this means for flood though. What type of health will the infected have, how fast will they walk, what guns will be accessible to humans, etc.
I was hoping for Longshore, but I can honestly say I'll be happy to see Valhalla back. It'll bridge that gap for me, making me really feel the nostalgia when I play and feel like I'm playing the new face of Halo.
Everything I just saw from you, Cluck, makes this day that much better. I cannot wait to revisit Valhalla or try this new infection! The new HUD for infected reminds me of the infected HUD in L4D, with the haze. Its nice and artsy, I like.
Alright! That's one of the first positive things I've seen that wasn't released alongside a killjoy (IMO, of course)! Valhalla works for me.
