1: Oh my god, these refs! I mean, they're doing their best, but they just dont have the experience of the regular refs. Actually, this is mostly the fault of the penny-pinching owners forcing Goodell to block pay increases for the regular refs. So: Oh my god, these owners! 2: Mostly because of the above, this last weekend has been the craziest week of football I've seen in years. Underhanded playstyles across the league led to an sharp increase in injuries. Especially my Ravens vs the Patriots game; I swear if they werent wearing jerseys it'd look like a parking lot pickup game in the streets. Hopefully a breakthrough will occur between Goodell and the refs' Union to reach some sort of settlement or something. 3: Speaking of the Ravens, the victory really belongs to Torrey Smith who had a phenomenal game despite having heard of his brother's motorcycle death earlier in the day. #RIPTevinSmith. 4: That was an interception, not some bullshit simultaneous catch
As a huge Patriots fan....I am genuinely pissed the **** off about that kick. I mean we had mistakes, but that was not the way to end that game, with some **** call. I gotta give it to Torrey though. How do you go through something like that hours earlier, and play a stellar game that night? And what BT said: That was an interception if I've ever seen one.
I hope they keep the replacement refs forever. After every two years. Replace them again. Why would you go back to the old refs? This has been awesome tv. Why would you change that? These have been the most exciting games ive ever seen haha
Much respect to torrey for playing in that game, would have loved to see the pats win, but still that took alot of courage for him, other than that the refs need to shape up or get out, i read today that one of them actually got fired from the lingerie football league, which is a league comprised of all girls in bikinis who play a dulled down version of football, lol
Lingerie Football League commissioner mocks NFL for its low officiating standards - Yahoo! Sports read that this mourning haha
Yeah Torrey Smith playing football in front of so many people took so much courage after what happened to him. He's such an inspiration for those who have gone through the worst of times to just keep moving forward.
How about those refs, huh? And my boy Andy Dalton is looking great so far. After the first game at the Ravens, that is.
the cardinals are looking pretty good this year i hope to see cam newton and RGIII make some news this season
It's too bad Cushing is out for the season. Houston has already suffered without him, but even if they go the distance, it will feel pretty bad for him because he wasn't a big part of it.
GOD WEARS BLACK AND PURPLE ON GAMEDAY! John and Joe Harbaugh square off for the second time in their history, fittingly, at New Orleans for the Super Bowl this year. This is also Ray Lewis's final game! GOD I CANT WAIT
I really do like the Ravens. I'm indifferent with the 49ers. And I'm sure tha hella glad that the Patriots get to go home!
