I've seen a considerable lack of coloured loot during my first play though. I found a gold grenade mod at about level 5, and one much later at about 25. On top of that i've only spotted about 5 purple weapons. I used the +5% better loot relic the entire time too.

Just now, i finished off the sheriff of lynchwood, killed the deputy by accident. There are pretty good easter eggs in this game arent there? Why so serious - Joker, Solitaire (Crystalisks Cave) - Dark souls, Steve head - Minecraft, Donkey Mong - Mario and some more. I still have jacks voice, wich is awesome ,Things like "Goodbye" will be said in jacks voice. [br][/br]Edited by merge: Hmm, my luck is as terrible as yours. I never had somenthing "Gold" and i have found like 8-9 purple weapons. Used the relic too. But i have some other good weapons, one purple corrosive SMG that is very very good, and a decent fire rate corrosive sniper, an tediore explosive pistol and a good fire shotgun.
I think I have the worst luck of all of us here. I went into the caustic caverns for marcus' safe... and my computer froze and died.
I was seriously surprised I could run this at max settings. I'm only starting out now, but damn I am having fun.
I got that one and I was really excited, but it was way worse than the gun I currently had, so it wasn't smart to use it. Still, that quest was really funny. They really did humor right in this game.
It's worth it on the second play through, the damage is sub par, but with its high fire rate and large mag size, it's brilliant.
My favorite quest, that I've finished thus far, is the one where you have to help that small town (the town where all the people are afflicted with a brain disease) set up their shield, and then test it. Poor, poor Dave. He was a bit of a **** though.
On the thousand cuts, as pinokhio says. If you know where the slab king is.. you have to walk an little bit further, over the bridge. You see an exclamation marker on the map, thats Shooty MacFace, his quest is pretty clear. [br][/br]Edited by merge: Well if you say its an good quest.. I might do it I know wich town you mean, and where you can get the quest, but i dont know the name of the town.
Oh God, Dave. My friend and I watched the mortar and I fell out of my chair laughing because we didn't think it would happen.
Its not that special, but man that sucks, when can you return playing? If you want i can tell you, i did the quest
Eh honestly, I will either have to fix my laptop or buy it for xbox. Neither of which I forsee happening soon. Feel free to tell me, just don't spoil any of the main quest for me.
Of course i wont And well.. its kinda stupid, you would expect an very badass gun(s) or money, but the vault holds.. yes `Revealing` pictures of Moxxi, and then you can make the choice to turn it in to Marcus or Moxxi, i gave it to Moxxi gave me an badass shotgun though. Pretty weird Hope you can play it again quickly though, sucks that your pc is dead.
Working on my second playthrough now. **** this game is good... And long! I'm still blown away by how much work they put into the main storyline.
I need like one or two dedicated people to play with me in Borderlands 2. I've already finished the game but now I'm working on True Vault Hunters Mode and just...****, ****, ****, blarg is the game so much harder now. Every person I have on my friends list right now is to low of a level to help me at all. Help me level up, and I'll return the favor. But yeah, I'm a level 34 Commando who needs people to play with.
