Night Sky and Black Hole Abstract are really impressive to me. Night Sky feels final to me, like whatshisname was saying it would be a great poster already. i like a lot of the 2011 ones, glass tower, singularity. glad to see you made the thread, and im looking forward to seeing more. really nice work. i wanna see what you would do with a nice tablet *complain about network of spoiler tags lol*
Quite like Night Sky as well. It definitely feels complete. I remember you posting a bunch of those older ones. Good work, sir!
Spoilers are a nightmare to navigate on a touch-screen phone . But the pics are mighty impressive. I especially like the Night Sky, Singularity and Terraces pics. Great work, dude, keep 'em coming
Holy ****, Kuroda. These are amazing. Night Sky is just ****ing outstanding. Keep up the good work, man.
Like the others, I really like Night Sky. Something about the fine dots and the "glue", as I interpret it, makes me eyegasm. Great work, Kuroda, keep it up, looking forward to your future work.
Are you using Imageshack? My computer doesn't respond to that site for some reason so I can't see the pics
looks epic, as i mentioned in the box. can't wait to see the final. i *think* i can imagine how it's going to look, but you might surprise me... =)
Finished up the v2 of Night Sky, now called Comprehension. Spoiler --- Yeah, they're all on paper, and it's just pencil work. Night Sky and Singularity are inverted, but otherwise unaltered.
Will you be posting more of your abstract art? I've been waiting to see the final rendition of your WIP. I like what you've posted so far. Also, it would be cool to see you blend Ferro Moon, Comprehension, and Singularity/Black Hole. I'd leave that interpretation up to you though.
If the WIP you're talking about is the Night Sky v2/Comprehension one, then that one's done. If you're talking about the black hole abstract one, well, that one was just a sketch that turned out nice, so I won't be working on it anymore. Not entirely sure how I'd go about blending those images together, since they're very different ideas. I am working on other images though, they just take longer and longer each time I do them. Thanks for the compliment, though Thanks! That really does mean a lot.
These are really nice, very organic. I almost feel as if you have broken some part of the mind down to a very basic and slightly fractured element, and then placed it on paper. Well done!
Thanks, although all of those 5 are incomplete. That's probably where you're getting that fractured feeling from. I don't know where to go from here on any of those, so I'm hoping to get some ideas.
Hey, kuroda. Came back and found this. I like the first three pictures, although maybe a bit more shading is in order (I'm not an art critic, so take this as untrained opinion). I don't "feel" (if you get what I mean) the last two pics. They look ... segmented.. especially the fourth one. I think that it's the same as the whole fractured thing. Cool
These are great. This abstract theme you've got is very interesting and unique! Keep it up, seriously.
