well yeah. that page was made RIGHT after I became level 30, obviously I picked up better playing habits since then. Such as, mana problems should be fixed with items, not runes. As for flat MR runes, they are WAAAAY better on Galio than MR/level runes.
For the longest time my jack of all trade runes where , Hp regen per level yellows and quints and flat AD reds and flat CDR blues Horrible horrible runes but my mindset was everyone uses AD for AA's and hp regen(and why wouldn't I want more hp regen late game) and CDR its perfect! I didn't know any better then. As for mana if I'm playing a mana hungry champ I just put 7 in utility mastery page and that generally fixes that problem, No runes, No mana items most of time. I find the biggest issue most people have with mana is learning when to actually use it like most people know not to spam weak attacks at a cow all laning phase he will just tank it and heal so its obvious waste of mana (most of the time) but when things get a little more subtle people tend to forget "Is it worth wasting this much mana to do this damage/cc" and just say "Damage=good, Mana=cheap resource" If they have no sustain then any harras is good but if they have any form of sustain you have to evaluate how much they can sustain, Can i out harass there sustain to kill them or send them back or zone them, How long will it take them to heal after i finish harassing them and will my mana be back by then all has to be taken into account. Once you understand when to use mana not that much of a issue, But sometimes you may choose to get more mana regen so you can spam your spells beating the enemy's health sustain, Which is a viable choice.
honestly, I cannot think of a single champion except veigar that mana gen runes would be helpful on, while playing properly. They certainly don't help on Galio and he has MASSIVE mana issues early game, especially when you play him mid like me.
When i said "mana regen so you can spam your spells beating the enemy's health sustain, Which is a viable choice." I meant mana regen items. Runes are pretty useless, 9 flat mana regen yellows is 3.69 mana regen, which is easily gotten with 7 points in the utility tree(12mana per level and 3 mana regen).
I recently got myself and a few friends (I think we amount to 6 or 7) playing LoL, and we've been trying to work on team comp and strategy. We've looked at a small number of guides and are trying to adhere to them, but would you guys have any tips for lower level (12-17) team strategy? Also, we're trying to get a solid jungler, but we're having a bit of trouble with it. Are there any specific champs/tactics we should get/know that would be easier to get used to jungling?
For jungling, Nocturne, Lee Sin and Udyr come to mind. Mind you, I suck horribly at jungling so those may not be what is actually good atm.
Not insulting you but everyone is so bad at level 12-17(because there is so much to learn that can only come over time so there is so many ways to improve and win) so its hard unless you have a 5 man team Just last hit and farm should have 200cs before enemy team has 100 if you do it right and enemy team aren't smurfs. And everyone on your team should be able to buy good items and 1v2 anyone on enemy team then once that happens just group up push towers and win. Udyr,Mundo are pretty easy junglers and mundo is top tier atm, But just think as a jungler "My job is a all lane support" getting kills for ur team when you can, harrasing putting pressure on lanes, Helping your team cs. Heres a guide for Udyr and you can use rune page and masteries for pretty much any jungler. (its also harder to jungle without full mastery page and top tier runes) Quick Tips - Ganking Types - YouTube
I don't know if anybody here still plays League, but I recently just started playing and was looking for some other players, but didn't want to start a new thread. If anyone wants to play, add me up PVP id: Krootalus Btw I usually play Jax because its fun as ****
