We don't need a pilot for the pitch. We just need to show we've thought all the characters, storylines, etc through. Then we pitch it, they pay for a pilot, we shoot it, etc. However, I would like to shoot a pilot myself, which would be dependent on several things, but it is doable.
I'm slightly interested in the discussion taking place, but I know I don't really have a place in it, or the discussion, so I'm just posting to express the futility of my vague interest. But, you know, that's life. If it's a show, I suggest doing lots of background story lines, those are the best.
:O We're trying to make it as detailed with the recurring jokes and hidden gems as Arrested Development, which is a tall order, but a good goal to strive for.
