Yes, i agree. I always thought there was an ass to those Spartans...made teabaging their dead bodies a little akward.
- Scratch that - The lighting system looks pretty intense. We'll have to see what they give us for launch. I imagine it's a little heavy on the performance right now. Didn't notice nade-splosion-shadows though. And this reminds me of this
Yes. It shows the game saving the shadows of the objects when switching from monitor to player mode. The shadows are essentially baked into the map, that's not dynamic. If there was actual dynamic lighting and shadowing we would've seen that in gameplay on non-forge maps too which isn't the case.
Slightly outdated but I think this detail was overlooked: I recall reading somewhere that 343 confirmed that there will be a playlist without all the load outs and perks(
I think the most they said was that there would be a stripped down or classic experience in MM. AFAIK they didn't specify how it will work or what elements we'll be able to remove altogether in custom options, thus playlists.
Bravo specifically stated in one of his videos that there will be a playlist with no AAs, perks, etc. That was the closest to an official source detailing the level of 'classicness' that I've seen. Edit: I think is was this video, towards the end. I can't check right now because I'm at work.
I saw it. The answer was 'yes'. It didn't go into any detail. This has some modicum of detail. And he talks to 343 people, so there's a good chance it's accurate. Halo 4 discussion is at the end dude. Edit: starts at about 7:10 or so. Somewhere in there I'm pretty sure he references the stripped down playlist.
i like strider. scanner just looks like the Carter helmet (whatever its called) with a virtual boy strapped on.
