Absolutely. It's so damn frustrating. I can get it when it's the final season like Breaking Bad and they're looking to milk for as long as they can but it really kills all momentum. Also, this is mostly directed towards The Walking Dead, the slower they put it out the older the actors get. If they're really gonna continue as slowly as they're going, Carl's gonna be a very mature looking 12 year old. I'd actually prefer if they did the same thing they're doing but as two separate seasons rather than two half seasons. On an always related note, I just went and saw it for the seventh time.
Splitting it into two seasons would make more sense if there was like 20+ episodes altogether. Splitting it up into two 7 episode seasons... that's just torture. I guess the main saving grace is that this season is Mike heavy, and I love me some Mike. "It's not a gun, it's a pistol. We're expecting accuracy here." Loved that scene.
It's 16 episodes actually. Two 8 episode stints. But yeah, I agree. It'd be make much more sense if they were doing a standard run of 24 episode seasons but they're not.
