It makes me sad knowing that the console versions won't have 7 flags, or as many people for that matter.
Lol, 1000 post thread. I hope that each team gets at least 3 tanks to play with, even on console versions and that at the start of the game there's lots of long range tank battles going on (from what I've seen the desert map should provide this) Hopefully more tank models too, the T-90 is too small compared to the Abrams. Does anyone know if you can link your accounts together so that your progression through the guns and ranks is the same across all platforms? I'm looking at getting BF3 for PC and I was wondering if I would have to slog through all the ranks again to unlock the stuff I want... Damn that P90 being a rank 40 weapon...
Unless you convince the developers to force rank you in the PC version, you're going to have to work from squre one.
Does anybody else have trouble placing down their bipod on 360? It usually just zooms and it takes me forever to put it down...
It might be because you're moving slightly, either because you're moving yourself or your thumbstick is messed up. It used to happen to me so I switched controllers and now it works fine.
yeah it happened all the time with my last controller. then i dropped it and it landed on the analog stick so i had to get a new one, and its fine now.
Anyone else use the Rifle scopes on non-sniper weapons? I find it to be very useful for some reason when I've got it on my M16 with the heavy barrel. Also, what's with everyone using the AEK all of a sudden? Has it become the new OP weapon?
I have been using the support class a lot lately. I used to not like it but I pulled out a LMG one day grand bazaar in the alleyway...now I cannot stop using it! Although I unlocked the thermal scope for both LMG's I have used so far I actually prefer not to use them with a LMG. Thermal scope does not see enemies very far and denied me many kills. Plus extended mag is a necessity.
If you spawn on the US side, across the road from A is a small alleyway with a van. If you sit on the van you can see most of the way down the alley. It's fun sitting there with a sniper and pinning them down while your team mates run in and clear them out. But it never works like that. I make a point never to get stuck in that alleyway. It's just a deathtrap.
Haha ya it is real easy to get overrun Also I found a nice spot when the enemy has monument square on seine crossing to set up while your guys take the square.you can see everything and anybody who steps out of cover to kill your guys can be dead or at least suppressed in a second. It is in the rubble across from the square not the big pile but a smaller pile it consists of a window in front of you and a heap of rubble to your right leaving only your left side exposed but if that is your spawn and not the enemies you should be fine.
M405A + 12x Scope + Straight Pull/Bipod = A real sniper. That's a good debate actually: Straight Pull or Bipod? Which do you prefer? What do you use?
Ah, but straight pull allows you to make quick follow up shots and bolt action snipers are better at long range.
If you know how to stop-and-pop, straight pull is better. You should never be in one spot long enough to need a bipod on a sniper.
i find the m40a5 is more a marksman rifle than a sniper rifle. but bipod is definitely more useful than pull bolt as pull bot jigs the scope whereas i can just flick the trigger to chamber quickly anyway with bipod.
What makes you say this? It's just the same as all the other bolt-action rifles and too be honest, the only thing that's different about each one is probably the look of the gun and the sound it makes. They all perform in the same way and experience the same problems.
There's differences between bolt actions, well most notably between rifles with 10 round clips and 5 round clips. Here's a chart displaying all stats: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...E0bjBueWVSQjc0V0E&f=true&noheader=false&gid=0
