    Can someone tell me how much each item weighs in forge mode? This is just a guess of course. I would like to perform some tests in forge mode. ((If you want to perform these tests, send a friend requests.))

    eh, uh, um. What a stupid question. They dont have weight, some things are of coarse heavier than others but why on earth would you need to know how much a wall weighs, its heavy, nuff said.

    Let me check my calculations...
    A crate weighs 30 imaginary pounds. The Warthog weighs 4000 virtual kilograms. And a Spartan weighs 5000 in computer mass.

    Yep, about right, I think.

    I hate to be the voice of reason (I haven't been here nearly long enough for that), but I would presume that he has a reason for wanting to know, rather than just provide a source of entertainment.

    I also assume he means their weights in the game engine itself, which would lead to the conclusion that he is attempting something new and/or innovative. So maybe lay off a little bit?

    As for actually knowing the weights, I haven't a clue. Could you not create some kind of see-saw device in forge and use that to weigh objects in comparison to each other?

    I could imagine why you would want to find out these things, it would be useful for balancing, trapdoors, etc.

    But as far as knowing the weights I don't have the slightest idea. The see-saw idea is pretty good though.

    No way to work it out. But the larger objects arnt necassarily the heaviest.

    Also, get your physics right. Your looking for the mass, not the weight.

    Aren't those drop pod things super heavy compared to other things? I'm not sure about the exact mass, but certain objects can be pushed around by walking (barrels, fusion coils, etc.) and others can be pushed around by punches (crates, wire spools, etc.)

    Yes, they are probably the heaviest of all of the forge items. But there is still no way to find out their mass.

    You could weigh items based on their relative heaviness to other objects, but that's it.
    Don't worry to much about it. Kagemashu is one of my friends from old FH. Which reminds me, I gotta send you a FR here.

    Also, I'd say that immovable objects have no mass, since they cannot move. But whatever, that's just random babbletalk.

    Here goes nothing:

    Forge mass one-
    (will fly away if a grenade lands next to it)
    :: Weapons
    :: Barrels
    :: Fusion coils
    :: Pallets

    Forge mass two-
    (will move slightly by punches and grenades)
    :: Crates
    :: Wire spools

    Forge mass three-
    (moveable, but pretty hard to move)
    :: Dumpsters

    I just sort of made it up, but it's pretty accurate? Also, it isn't bearing in mind the object's shape- which would obviously change how much it moves.
