A q u a r i u s Hello, and welcome to my 1v1 Smackdown entry map, Aquarius. This map was created to induce professional game-play, and be fun. It is a symmetrical map, with plenty competitiveness for both players on the field. Has a fair balance on the map. No power weapon is over dominant even if you own both. Navigation is fairly simple for any new player on the field. Power Weapons♦Custom Power Up - 130 seconds ♦Grenade Launcher (two grenades) - 110 seconds ♦Health Pack x1 - 45 seconds Other Weapons on map♦DMR x3 ♦Needle Rifle x1 ♦Magnum x2 (no spare clips) ♦Plasma Grenade x2 ♦Frag Grenade x2 Thanks to lHigh Voltagel xDR Hax Cyber Sh4dow Dr Pepper420x fangtimes HoR R4M4GE x JFC YTRTHNU Mister Zeek 2 UWannaFootlong x5fk FrUiTPuNcH XLegacy RebornX Xlaier And Others And Special Thanks to the Testers Guild If you want it. Man, I've looked at this a couple times at work and would love to try a game on it with you, this is a great looking map. I like the way the light works in the CPU room and original architecture throughout the map, def looks fun to play on from the looks of it. Awesome work FM
I can send you an invite to it whenever you feel fit just send me a private message, just make sure it's not during the Olympics opening; I'll be watching that. Anytime before or after is fine by me though. Thanks for the feedback.
While the map makes for a great warm-up, I feel that it's overly simplistic for anything more than that, especially a 1v1 tournament where players will be looking to pull away through something more than their individual shot. In fact, the map is so simple that I had already known every angle within the first minute, leading to a 15-1 win against Noooooch (to be fair, he never played the map either). The OS jump may need to be tweaked a bit. It was a bit annoying to use on-the-fly. Any other problems were in the map design itself and would require massive changes that no forger would be willing to go through with. Bad angles, too many open spaces, etc. As much as I liked this map, it's just too simple to pass off as anything but a warm-up. Still, this is one of the better Smackdown maps I've played so far. The real competition is still on its way. This was quite a good effort, being one of your earlier maps. Hopefully we'll see bigger things out of you in the future.
Well thanks at least. My real inspiration was from a map that I made a long, long time ago, and I lost it from an over ride glitch. Needless to say I was pissed, though I like this one better than the last. Thanks agianFM and the BB
