So I decided to try something else out, something a little comedic. I've always wanted to review the maps on the "Most Downloaded" list on Reach but never really found an approach I liked until now. Anyways, check it out - it's only about a minuet and a half, the idea is to keep them super quick. Halo:Reach Most Downloaded Reviews: Episode 1 - YouTube
I actually quite liked it. I'd drop the profanity a little bit, but that's just my personal preference. I'd love to see you review them psuedo-seriously too. For example, you could talk object usage, aesthetics and all the usual Forge jargon, and the parody elements of the reviews would make it funny for people who are used to seeing Forge map review.
It's funny, this is probably one of the only videos I've ever sworn in. I normally prefer not to, as I know viewers will have mixed feelings about it - however in this case I thought it added to the "angry". As for doing a somewhat real review - like going over block use, I like that. I possibly will give that a shot next time around. Could be funny "Now, why would anyone use a brace large here? There are clearly other options available ....." Thanks for the good idea!
They're all little kids who believe the top downloaded maps are just a riot - WAY to many kids on Halo. You should do more of these comedy sketches - the humor is funny, and the tone is original [or so I believe]! ...You know, perhaps you should do a review on playing matchmaking with children? And just play matchmaking until you get a great example of the annoyance of it.
