Garbage Dump Hello everybody! After the fileshares came back I decided to finish editing my map and get it up onto forgehub. So after tons of work, this is what I ended up with. Awesome map Minion! Maybe you should add a little bit more information in your description, such as the story behind the map or what made you decide to make this map, but the pictures look solid and explain a lot about the map itself already. I like how you put a ton of budget into making the aesthetics of this map stand out in a realistic and natural looking way, instead of trying to build strongholds and buildings with the majority of the money. There's plenty of rubble laying around on the place, but it never gets in the way and you can still manoeuvre on the map perfectly fine. I've played this map a couple of times and - just like with my map LSIALM, without bragging - the strongholds on this map have a very natural and accidental feeling (an important aspect on Infection maps in my opinion) yet are balanced and work fine, two factors that are very difficult to combine. But you nailed it with this map! It's also great for smaller parties, however I'd change the minimum amount of players to something like 6 or 8 rather than 1, cause that's kind of pointless. Overall, a good job, I'll talk to Berb about getting it in the Infection Database soon, as I know it's definitely good enough.
Nice pun on forgeworld as a whole.....in all seriousness though, was it that hard to make forge pieces look like garbage?
Thanks for the feedback In all seriousness, yes, it is very hard to incorporate the garbage into gameplay, as in, using it as los blockers and pathways. It is also very hard to get it to look realistic, and yet not cause any framerate. And REMkings, thanks for the nice feedback, I'll change what you've mentioned soon.
Hey, I remember this map! I played it in one of Insanmiac's custom lobbies. I thought this map was really great but when I was playing it my friend came to my house so I was a little distracted. So I hid in on the 2nd floor of the collapsed building thing, and I was the last man standing. Lol it was pretty funny but I'll be sure to download this.
hey im surprised no ones commented on framerate! thats what everyone comments on! and never the actual map itself normally. but with all the objects, it seems like the map could seem hard to know where to go or where corners are making it confusing has this happened when playing on it?
Thanks for the feedback The framerate isn't an issue at all, unless you go into forge and look at the whole map. And when you play there isn't really "a place to go" but people normally all will try to hold out at the same side of the middle structure. And try to survive until the turret spawns. Because there are so many places for the zombies to hide, the humans have to work together, and is very dangerous to go out alone. There is also a sniper on the top of the middle structure but it is very hard to hold out on because there is about five different entrances to the top.
I played it with a full lobby yesterday in my BIOC lobby and people did find a couple of cheatable spots, so I'll cover those in my Recap thread later today.
are you sure? People found them before, but I put soft kills on the only possible ones... Where were these spots?
There was one on the rock cliff, but it was difficult to access. The other one was at the end of the bridge; it wasn't too strong, but you could camp there. There was also one under the huge rack in the middle. I'll cover them in the recap thread using pictures, don't worry.
No I mean a different rock. I'll show you in a picture when I get back from vacation(next Saturday) in the recap thread along with my other feedback.

this looks awesome!! you got my download.. i might want to use this for a hide and seek type kinda game, i think it work work well.. did this take up the whole budget of the map cuz from tge pictures it dosent look quite the all the budget waa there.. anyways great map keep it up..
thanks for the feedback Thanks! And I think a hide and seek game would be epic! And I'm pretty sure I used all the budget, but if I didn't, It's probably a good thing because any more objects and this map would have framerate issues.
Does the map have framerate? I'd love to get a game on this. And if everything goes well, add it to the database? Cause we need new maps in the database guys.
Nope, I don't think so. Beybok kept telling me it didn't but I only got one full lobby on this map so far and that game was really laggy so I couldn't tell (because it was not due to the map, but to the people in the lobby). And yeah, I already put it on my to-be-added list for the Database a long time ago. It's great for both small and large lobbies, which is a feature you don't see very often.
Nope... No, there is no framerate issues with a full lobby. And, when do you think, it will be added to the database?
