    Possible Alien/Prometheus spoilers

I finally decided to watch Alien because I had just seen Prometheus a week ago. It was pretty good. I feel like the movie didn't go into the details as much as it should have, such as, who sent the warning? (I assume it was Prometheus). also, why do the people not seem to give a **** about a giant humanoid alien? Assuming that the crew of Nostromo didn't have any knowledge of the events in Prometheus, they should have been freaking out that their whole world view is shattered and all religion is disproved. And just for clarification, is the dead humanoid alien in Alien one of the white guys in Prometheus. I can't remember if that was explained or not.

Rubber is the best idea for a film that I've seen in a long time.

The way I see it is no one had any knowledge of the Engineers because they didn't communicate back to their headquarters with any of the information they uncovered whilst on LV-233. I'm guessing what happens next is the chick who leaves in the second ship at the end goes to the Engineers home planet, LV-426, and there is another engineered organism on her ship, like the one on the first ship, but in the form of the Xenomorphs we know today as the Aliens, and they wipe out that planet, but not before the chick sends out a warning beacon; the beacon the crew of the Nostromo discover in Alien.

I'm also guessing that the Space Jockey in Alien may be the chick at the end of the first movie, but she died in the chair whilst sending out the warning, hence why there is a hole in its chest as if a chest-burster came out of it/her.

I just saw Alien 3. I love how it just shits on the faces of the first two movies. Oh wait, I hate that.

Yeah I saw it as well but I was wondering when the teaser was going to be released online? Does anyone know? Shouldn't it be today?

PS: That was one hell of a trailer.

Saw TDKR last night, but didn't see a Man of Steel trailer before it. Saw a trailer for Looper though, and it looks pretty awesome. Definitely up there on my list.

So was TDKR as good as The Dark Knight?

I would say almost. Definitely a great film, but The Dark Knight has a slight edge over IMO.

The theater I went to did a marathon of the three movies so I got to see them all in a row. 9 hours in a movie theater did wonders to my neck.

Idk they're close. I think TDKR is slightly better just because of how beautifully it sums it up at the end. The Joker was fantastic though.

Wasn't for me. Aussie cinemas are normally slow with trailers.
The cooked thing about the trailer though was that it wasn't attached to The Dark Knight Rises immediately. It was attached from 4:00pm Friday in Australia to coincide with the rest of the world.
My third viewing was on Friday at around 1pm, so who knows, maybe mine was the last session to not have it attached.

Either way, I've watched the bootleg. It was pretty cool but it was a teaser so nothing to salivate over.

I thought the TDKR was freaking fantastic, the ending brought together so many loose ends.

Evidently, it depends on who you ask. I thought it was awesome, and if I had to compare it to TDK, I'd say it's on par with it, purely because of how the story plays out. Bane was cool, but probably could have been fleshed out a little more in my opinion, but I suppose they left that 'mysterious'ness about him by not giving you everything. Definitely worth seeing if you enjoyed the last two films.

I'd have to say I didn't enjoy TDKR as much as I enjoyed TDK. The ending was the only thing that salvaged it for me, as I didn't much enjoy the first 45 minutes or so. I just couldn't get into it.
