The Spartan Games You have one life to live. How will you choose to live it? This is not one of the Hunger Games map remakes. The idea follows suit and is transformed into its own game, like no other. Let the Games Begin 11 Spartans. The ideal number of contestants to participate in the Game of Spartans: to see who will be the last one standing to hold the crown. The last one alive will win the game. There are a few notes to take before beginning your conquest Each contestant is given nothing but a sword, the ability to sprint, and their wits. weapons and ammo are scarce. use them wisely. The contestants spawn in an atrium lobby. At this time, no damage can be done to anyone, and this is the place where players can decide whether or not they want to form an alliance with someone else, or just to watch other players. After the clock counts down, the players will be teleported to the games. There is an old, crashed aircraft that holds the majority of the weapons. weapons here spawn over time, so keep your eyes peeled here, but beware, dont just rush in to get a gun at first, you might get killed this way. There are no radars or waypoints, you have to track people down and use your binoculars to find your targets. Stay quiet (minimum sprinting) and stay low (stay in cover) There are no shields and health does not regenerate. Health packs are few, but can be found. Team up with other people if you can, but beware, they can turn on you at any given moment Look around! look for supplies and keep in mind the attributes of each weapon, the sounds the make and the visibility it may have. you dont want to be seen. you begin the game in a dream of a far off memory, or a memory of a far off dream.. I cant remember which This is the atrium. After you "wake up" you spawn here. You can meet players, talk to players, interact with them, but are not able to do damage at this time. Its like the pre-game lobby, but in real life. This is the crash site. Many (but not overpoweringly) weapons spawn here and will continue to spawn here over time. Everyone spawns spaced-out facing the crash site. If you want to stay alive, make the choice to get a weapon there, or run away and find one somewhere else. Just remember: "Fools Rush In." I like that song Dis' Fool aint rushin' in! He's smart and is headed through the cave to island where good weapons are. Weapons are extremely hidden and dont have too much ammo so look everywhere. The Shadow of the Day has crept in. wow lots of song references here. This spartan is surviving the treacheries of the surroundings and jumping the gap in the bridge. it may look like I barely forged anything on this map, but theres not a lot of budget left if you open it in forge. There are secrets. lots of them. Like this tree-fort. Hidden grav lift to hidden tree fort. awesome. an outpost. there are no weapons here, just a medpack. and a decent pathway to the cliffside area where there is a Magnum hidden somewhe- oh I probably shouldnt have said that an overview of the island/cliffside area. beautiful desolation. How much is your life worth? Its worth what you hold in your hands. Steal what your targets have you may not make... the cut. Good luck to you out there. Remember: This isnt Halo anymore. Its real. Its gruesome. Its: The Spartan Games Please download and try with many people. Ive gotten very good responses. Please download and comment below, but not about framerate.
Cool map, I play a gametype similar to this with a bunch of my friends. You should check out my channel on youtube we post our gameplay footage, its CC Studios. Thanks.
played with 11 players and it played perfectly. in a game like this, you need space, but lots of accesibility to the areas of forgeworld which Iv added to the map. everythings here for an excellent experience
How is this not another Hunger Games map remake? It clearly is! No offence, but I don't see any new, original or special features that distinguishes this map from the movie, or from any similar map.
Exactly what I thought Don't get me wrong, it looks decent, maybe a few too many buildings, but it just isn't any different to The Hunger Games.
all the hunger games maps ive seen dont use as much of forge world as this game does. the way the secrets are and the way the weapons are so hard to find, just as well as the player attributes and having to watch out so that forge world itself doesnt kill you makes it real and differentiated from the other "hunger games" maps if you havent tried it, please dont comment on how you think it will play. play it first with the recommended players and then tell me how it plays. It plays so differently than youd think. play it first then comment. then I will respect you
The thing about Hunger Games themed maps (you can't deny it is not Hunger Game themed) is that it is a pain the ass when there is only 3 people left, and with a huge map like this, you will not be seeing much action. The people who are dead will also be extremely bored as these games tend to go on fore or until someone cracks and decides to just run and jump around. As people will not want to die and suffer the misery of the death camera, they will just camp, making for slow flow and no action. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and play this map myself, but I'm just telling you what I'm expecting.
well thank you but like I said it plays differently than youd think. people with huge groups are in a party or usually all have mics and when someone dies, they can spectate whoever they want. They can tell their alliances where they are, or lie and lead them away to their enemies, and the game never lasts too extremely long this way. actually, the fewer people are left, the more intense it is! theres a film now on my fileshare of the game being played. watch that to see how it is
This makes no sense, it is the Hunger Games. What about the people who are dead, they will get bored and leave the game. When there are two people left the game will never end, the map is too big.
We played it yesterday. 4 out of 10. The Hunger Games cannot really be recreated as well as the movie. It's a pain to have the final few (we somehow always ended up with the final four) wander the map to find little weapons (seriously, there was like no weapons on the map besides (very well hidden) weapons. The people that died first mostly always left. At the end we had like 7 instead of 11 at the beginning. It was fun at first, but got boring and stale very quickly.
ive made a map just like this called 'survival' but this looks very nice, im guessing its similar to play like mine where once you get like 5-7 zombies it is very much run and hide and where ever you hide, you stand no chance but look good
hmm... It actually has some cool ideas. The real pre game lobby is cool, although a little useless. and I really like the nest in the trees. It actually looks like it would be quite fun though.
thank you! Im not sure why too many people arent liking this game. The people I play it with say it is really fun. The weapons are hard to find, so the more you play it the more you can get to know it and have the upper hand on your friends. But for weapons I remember puting in Ill tel you: Spiker: next to campsite on Alaska Frag: next to campsite on Alaska New Sword: on plateau in the canyon by where players start Drop Shield: in canyon cave Mongoose: on top of canyon beach bunker Grenade Launcher: at the beach-side bunker on Montana Armor Lock: at the beach-side bunker on Montana Magnum: on the cliffside in a treefort (past Alaska) DMR: on top of the island mountain Drop Shield: at the Pillar-side edge of the island there are also some shotguns and other guns I forgot where I put so there are a good few weapons on the map not counting the crash-site weapons
