Has anybody else noticed that you can hold the Flag in one hand and a pistol in the other? Kind of an interesting gameplay choice, I wonder what weapons can be held alongside the flag.
Dual ... wielding .... but Frankie said... Screw it that's sweet. I haven't seen a clear view of that yet - just a fuzzy cam vid. Anybody got a good video link or maybe a screenshot?
Is there a picture with the flag and pistol?oh and that assanation with the flag"push players down and stab the flag through their skull" seems really awesome.
Agreed.they shouldn't look so...new.but that oddball Looked really cool.that vid gave me some decent screenshot ideas. Also what do you guys think of a BPR skill rating and ranking system.idont think that would be too bad. They actually read my mind with the "wielding one-handed weapons with flag" (even if it's just the pistol" and throwing the oddball, believe me or not. I hope that Oddball throwing is more like power drain throwing from H3 and not like grenade throwing. Assault bombs might as well be throwable short distances, too. One can spawn with 2 plasma grenades? They would have to be toned down for vehicles, but if the thrower uses thruster or hardlight shield to protect them from a plasma blast they could be an alternative to using a weapon. Also, chasing someone at close range or even winning a battle with a melee is going to be impossible. I don't see how the sticky detonator is an improvement over the grenade launcher, even if the launcher had some redundant uses as grenades too. I think banking (launcher) grenades is a lot more interesting and challenging than waiting for opponents to walk into them. At least with normal grenades you have to anticipate the enemy's movements, and the enemy could anticipate a grenade and choose to not walk around that corner immediately. You would still often have two chances from spawn, and this slowed the game down, giving players a way to negate their disadvantage of being down shields. Even if there are fewer grenades because of that perk that allows you to pick up nades from dead bodies, allowing players to choose when to detonate that sticky grenade is much easier than using the sandbox element that already exists (normal grenades) to "lay traps" or just to protect yourself from being chased. Infinity Slayer to me just seems to unnecessarily compound an advantage that a player has (manifested as extra points) with another advantage. I remember a source (I think from a game developer) about Team Hotshot from Reach, and the speed of players who got kills was decreased to offset the increase in damage that those players got, specifically to prevent a "rich get richer" gametype, so I don't see why it's different with IS.
I'm really enjoying that nobody noticed the 4th new never-seen-before map the oddball assassination was on.
That was Adrift... I noticed the pillar with fire cOming out in a gameplay video.this is the outer area where your in space.at least it looks like you are...but there is perfect gravity and everything...
The players looked weird and the map was new looking because it was just a out of game demo of cool new things
I'm tempted to go to part 1 of those machinima walkthroughd and pause to look at different helmets and armor. I think I saw scout helme in there. Edit:I was watching gameplay on longbow and I saw snow drifts...the wind was blowing snow.i have no clue why but that is awesome.
