Here is a Star Wars race map a friend and I built. It is based off the Episode I: The Phantom Menace movie where Anakin pod races on Tatooine. It is a lot of fun. So enjoy the commentary and visuals. Is there a way to turn boost to infinite for this? And maybe also increase the movement speed of the ghosts? I don't know as I never play around with gametypes, I just forge maps... But I think faster moving ghosts with infinite boost would make it more pod-racer-esque.
I tried to find a way for both infinite boost and increase movement speed and you can't. In a way it makes the gameplay a little more competitive since you have to figure out when to boost and when to let off the boost to have it charge. The map looks pretty good and reminds me a lot of the Star Wars pod race with kid Anakin, but, as I saw from the video, you should really put the damage modifier to 0% or the damage resistance to 'Invincible' to stop people from shooting/killing each other. If they know that they can't kill you, they'll stop shooting, and there'll be no rage.
Dam you beat me to the idea...oh well sweet map man. I'll download it later and get some people to race with, looks awesome and fun cant wait.

Hm. If you don't know how to change it, then how do you know how to post those links in your first message? Are you sure you're not secretly necro-bumping your own thread here?
I made this back when Bungie.net was up and running and I cannot seem to find a way to edit that top top section. So I went and put the links to the Halo Waypoint file share where you can download the maps from because Bungie.net only allows you to copy it to your file share and not download it to you Xbox. I don't bump my threads. And its VERY easy to post URL's since you just click on the icon that allows you post links and you just follow the steps lol
This looks like a pretty cool map plus i have never raced with ghosts before so i think it's worth a try
I remember playing this map with someone a while back. It wasn't the best track Iv'e seen, but it wasn't the worst. Though I had some fun on this map, it seemed way to clunky to be constantly fun. I would advise you to make it smother using ramps and taking away a few items, mainly because it was to crowded, and I was just with one other guy. It's nice but you can improve a lot more. Still got to give it a 6 out of 10 though. Not bad.
