This thread is to talk about and discuss your type of humor.. I understand some humor is pretty much universal, so try to keep it "unique" to you. So here's where I ask the question: What type of *humo(u)r is distinctive to you or that you really enjoy? Make sure to post an example For instance, Here: Monty Python - Self Defence - YouTube My brothers and I always say stuff similar to this (and basically any Monty Python skit), like saying, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!" when something's perfectly understandable. Or like saying (out of nowhere), "Suppose you have a bunch of bananas?" and my brother will look over at me like, "...what the hell is wrong with you?!" I don't really enjoy stand up comedy as I am more of an action person. I will enjoy almost anything that comes in a skit form, Monty Python, SNL. Sketch comedy rocks.
I appreciate comedy in all its forms. My personal preferences lean more to smart jokes due to the multifaceted nature of them, but if a slap stick or insult comic gag are particularly good then I can enjoy them as well.
I have a rare sense of humor. Ill be in public walking around or whatever and suddenly start laughing because I see something and imagine something stupid/hilarious happening when it doesnt. People dont know what Im laughing and think Im wierd I just see funny things most people cant. Hard to explain but hopefully someone understands.
Once when I was sitting in a bean bag chair looking at the plain white bubble filled ceiling of the room, I watched Pooh bear grow winds and flu around thrice with a wicked looking notched arrow in a dragon bone bow. Then he left without a sound. I chuckled but nobody cared, they are used about that with me. Not really a sense of humor, just a way of seeing things. One thought leads to another and the result is like a dream: strange and unearthly at times despite being grounded in reality. For instance, I was thinking about Cupid (Hence the bow), Skyrim (The dragonbone bow), and wanting honey(pooh). That like what you mean?
Sorta. You know Epic Movie, Superhero Movie, etc? I have a twisted and imaginative sense of humor. Also when Im eating with my parents and nobody's talking and all I hear is munching and heavy breathing in an awkward silence, I laugh. And my mom thinks Im on drugs.
Yeah, I can relate. However the only movie of those like you mentioned that is any good is Superhero movie. The rest were just awful.
^ your type of humour is illegible and improperly referenced? So far and no talk of irony or filth? Perhaps the two purest sources of hilarity, but i'll let you off when it comes to irony, as only a brit can use it properly.

One my favorite types of humor is multilevel humor. Like this guy on the surface just seems like a flat out troll but there is so many levels to what his saying/doing that makes it funny. Joe Goes To BLIZZCON - YouTube
Calling out people who want to impress people. When someone thinks they can create a story, or a reason for something. They come up with an idea that if you don't think about it you would believe it. Since I think on just about everything, I call them out, and when it clearly is a lie they still go on as if it was true. That is some of my favorite humor.
