Last Crusade Created by DarthMike2007 Recommended Gametype: Gauntlet Recommended Players: 1 Congratulations to DarthMike2007 for winning our Wonders of the World contest with his recreation of the ancient Jordanian city of Petra, cut into the rose-red rock surrounding Mount Hor. Not only did he do a great job on the look and feel of the entrance to Petra itself, there's also a bonus puzzle hidden inside, themed around the Indiana Jones film The Last Crusade. Can you make your way past the traps and tricks laid in your path, and claim the Holy Grail? Grab the map and gametype now and give it a shot! Thanks to all those who entered the Wonders of the World II contest for both your map submissions and your patience for the winner being announced. Holy fack, the results are finally out. Congratulations to Darth, playability and aesthetic value is what several of the other entries lacked.
This is a good looking map and the fact that it's playable is definately an advantage over the other entrants. Congrats Darth. Oh, you can't hear me? I guess it's because you haven't been active since may 27th
Congrats Darth! This looks really great, plus I get to be Indiana Jones?! I used to love the Indiana Jones movies, I will definitely check this out.
"Penitent men shall pass...." and you def passed, great concept. God I loved that film. I'm requesting a v2 in H4
Its a good puzzle map. I'm just bad at puzzle maps. I totally failed at the first and second test, and now I'm stuck at the third one. But this is a great map! Its a good puzzle map. I didn't even realize this got featured... Not really my thing, but it won a contest so I'll hold my tongue. Besides, I do love that movie.
Oh man, this map is brilliant. Aside from the "faithful" jump I knew pretty much exactly what to do at every turn because I had seen the movie and was familiar with what halo can do. The jump itself was the only semi-disappointing one, but that's only because you can't really replicate both the look and effect of that scene.
Thanks for the win! Sorry I haven't logged on since forgehub's switch from bungie to 343 industries. Busy with other grad school and such too. Nonetheless, I'll definitely post some future maps for halo 4. Hopefully they'll be even better. Forge on brothas!
