mixed feelings on this one... the console looks cool, but the controllers just look messy. also, transparent plastic is really brittle, if you were to drop one of the controllers, it would crack really easily.
Oh if only my controller hadn't been beaten to hell and back and I had already bought a new one. Transparent plastic or not, it still looks sick.

It really doesn't seem to me that chief would append "stay close to me" with "I'm your best chance of survival." The way that played it sounded almost cocky, then again it's out of context so we'll see.
Yeah I agree, I didn't quite like how that sounded. How many years is this before Halo 3? Does anyone know?

Well ok then. Question answered. Seeing live action MC makes me think that if there was ever a halo movie...it shouldn't include MC. Just seems wrong when you're seeing a non 7 foot tall dude wearing what looks like glossy plastic armor.
While I agree with you on the armor for this, I highly doubt it'd look that way in a Hollywood production.
Maybe if Weta did the suit or whatever prop people did the Iron Man suits did MC it would be good but there's a lot of ways it could end up looking lame. All I'm saying is I'm concerned.
use someone who is actually 7 feet tall, its not extremely abnormally tall. they wont have to do any real acting, his helmet would presumably be on the whole time, and the person in the suit obviously wouldnt have to be the voice they use.
The MC is not 7 feet tall. He is 2.13 Meters (just shy of 6'10"). Daniel Cudmore is 6'8". Put a helmet on him and you'll never know the difference. Oh, and just got my hands on a pass for the Con tomorrow. I will be playing a substantial amount of Halo 4.
