I think you guys are missing something. The 343 guys answer to the question about fall damage was, did you notice any. He later saw some in the vid playback. So basically yes there is fall damage but it does not affect you so much that you notice it. My guess, light shield damage with very little if at all stun.
I saw the red canyon and immediately thought Blood Gulch, rewinded and was relieved that it was not that. I'm glad that was the case.
That wasn't any real new info just random passes by some new screens to look at. This weekend is going to be the good info I think. My guess is either some info about forge or an improved theater mode.

One of these ordinances can include a speed boost and if you are already holding a power weapon it won't give you another one.
Yeah, I'll be curious to see how it will play in battle. I would prefer it if ordinance drops are something to be used as a boost to your team, instead of it being exclusive yourself...which would encourage more team-play and would give the game a new aspect of using team strategy.
For the last time, he's still doing the announcements, they just re recorded them. As for the video, glad the Scattershot is getting toned down, that thing looked like a rape machine in all the E3 vids. That was probably said in another video too, but this is the first time I noticed it.
Yeah, I still wonder how it will compete with the shotgun. My preference is that the scatter shot can shoot off of walls, is faster at reloading, and can shoot at a further range - while the shotgun shots at a closer range, yet is more powerful.
